You are right about the lack of emotion, that's a good point.

He's usually a pretty emotional player, sometimes even too much so. Usually the one barking from the bench at other teams and such.

We don’t know that and that’s a big assumption. To me Amen doesn’t look right either. No one was playing hard on defense except Jabari and Okogie. The whole team just lacks energy. Not sure what’s going on.

I'm not ready to give up on Tari yet, but I am ready to admit it's possible he has checked out on the Rockets.

This only makes sense if he wants a trade. There hasn’t been any reporting on tensions. He still needs to perform for his next contract. If i were Fertita and Stone I would insert him in the starting lineup and get more value out of him while making him feel valued. This is what Indiana did with Mathurin. If u aint paying the guy then make him feel valued and wanted.

All he is doing is sabotaging himself by playing poorly. I would expect him to get it together soon

Dude gone get benched and end up like dmo. Because teams will lowball him this offseason and the rockets will match it to be petty. If he doesn’t report for the physical on that low offer sheet, his nba career will essentially be over. His best bet is to request a trade to a team that’ll pay him but there aren’t any that’s willing to pay him over 20 mil

Yea whoever his agent is, he's getting some real bad advice. With his injury history already and now with him potentially not being a good professional, he's just creating additional unnecessary red flags that will crater his value. For everyone involved including himself, he needs to grow the **** up and let bygones be bygones

Wonder if he is playing hurt, or just rusty. He has every incentive to give 100% effort this season. He is a hard worker, can not imagine him just checking out on a contract year.

That's perfectly OK. I'm checked out on him as well. It's Ime's turn to check out on him.

Give Tate, Uncle Jeff, JD some PT. Wake him up. You want to get paid like you're the man? Toughen up and grow up.

He has never been a high IQ player he is very emotional and kinda regarded bball IQ wise.

It works extremely well when he is locked in and engaged but when he is in the dumps like RN he will play like a bonafide scrub.

this is like a coin there are two sides.

Rewards his behaviors not signing, pouting and not a permanent solution as we move forward.
    VS
Showcase him to get as much value in a trade. Brings up morale for the whole team as he has to be close to a lot of the players. Rockets look good as they help their draftees get paid. If not here then somewhere in the league.

Tari played as many minutes as Kevin Durant did last night. Yes. Let that sink in...

Despite the minutes, he was essentially a non-factor in the game. He was basically just out there. His intensity level is lacking, and it's obvious why. If he can't get over it, which I believe he will even if it is for selfish reasons only, but if he can't, they've got to move him for some guard help.

I wanted to trade all our Phoenix picks for a chance at Edgecomb. Not sure Maury would’ve done it. We can’t get Grimes until next year. Getting him this year would be strictly a rental. Mid December you could arrange a costly trade to go for it this year. Probably Tari, filler, and a draft pick (not one of our best ones) might do it. We would have no chance of signing him next year and beyond though.

I think they are all putting too much pressure on themselves. Amen, Jabari, Sengun, and even Tari seem like deer in head lights this last game. They need a huge blowout and a signature win against a good team to get their mojo back. Double bigs does not inspire the frenetic defense and transition basketball we need. FVV getting hurt and not signing Tari may have dulled our edge going into the season. Durant is right about being pissed off. It is exactly what we need.

He puts the ball on the floor way too much. Gambles on defense a little too much. His shot selection has been horrid to start the season.

Needs to turn it around quickly.

I don’t think he’s checked out. Only two games in. Hard to tell much from that.

The team still can’t shoot, and gets little ball movement.

He needs to apologize to the whole organization for his lack of professionalism and then go out there and be the Tari he was last year when he played.

Not sure where you got those numbers. Durant played 37 minutes and Tari played 28 but the rest of what you said was true.
