This version is probably a 89% version of the In Prime Durant, still very good.....still somewhat elite and clutch....

It’s obvious that the rockets miss Fred and it has nothing to do with the KD trade… The trade is still a win, did you see how easily KD scores? Just we are missing such an important piece right now. Ime playing all these bigs and getting our rebounded is crazy.

 

This is not obvious at all. If Fred makes this much of a difference we were never contenders with KD. Everything I said in this thread is coming true. I literally called him coach killer. Man scored 37 points on 50% FG, more than our young core combined, and people are blaming this loss on him I genuinely cannot

 

This year and last year the rockets soo far have won 0 games that Fred has missed. We literally have no guard play. Fred is only important to us because we only have 1 PG on the roster and it was him.

 

We won 11 games without Fred stop the cap. Again us not being as good last year without Fred was to be expected WITHOUT Durant. But I was told Durant makes us way better. Do you get it now?

 

I wish we would have kept Brooks out of this trade, he would’ve fit this team perfectly

 

Sorry my guy, but you're wrong.

Fred himself isn't the be all and end all. But it's so abundantly clear many on Clutchfans have never experienced first hand competitive basketball to understand just exactly what a competent PG means to a team.

Just because he's not dropping 3s like Steph Curry doesn't mean he's not as important to a team.

It's literally plain as day.

Durant has been the bottom of the pile of reasons why they've lost both games.
