No shooters + double bigs = worse spacing.

How does the offense get smooth?

I guess Ime never think about this problem.

 

If we dont have shooters then we'll need bigs to rebound -> result of starting our double-big lineup because Ime doesn't have full faith in Reed to be the other guard to give us spacing

 

Reed doesnt deserve Ime's faith he is playing like garbage right now.

 

That $7 mill gonna look good as a trade filler in late December

 

I blame Stone’s dumbass if this contract is affecting Tari’s play. Reports are saying the contract was 100 mil but didn’t have guarantees which is a typical stone contract. Just the pay the damn salary and move on.

We didn't trade our youth.... as evidenced by several of our core being incredibly young and years from their prime.

What they did do is trade a clearly inadequate young player.

It's insanity at this point after the year after year evidence we've seen, that people are complaining about Jalen being gone.

I haven't been in this thread but I'm guessing people are freaking out already. Stay off the bandwagon once than team gets rolling.

 

Sengun gave a resounding “hold your horses” on the superstar talk tonight. Message received, Alpi. Looks like the same player to me, to be honest, outside of better free throw shooting. Can’t hit the midrange with any consistency, difficulty finishing inside, ….

Very good player, borderline allstar type.

 

jrue would be nice, though my first choice would be Derick White if possible

 

JD Davison is the only TRUE PG on the roster. Reed and Holiday are both Combo Guards.

 

I'm not complaining at all that we traded Jalen Green, but getting KD makes our other younger players expendable if front office becomes impatient on their development, including Jabari next offseason.

 

90% of this loss is on Sengun.

 

Lots of luck in this game. All the 50/50 rebounds went to the Pistons. Lucky 3s went to the Pistons and the refs let the Pistons maul us. We’ll recover.

Losing FVV was a total curveball right before the season and its gonna take a minute to figure the work around...

Personally, I like the big line-up... it seems to cause chaos for the other team - we just gotta not play down to that level too... We're doing a great job on disrupting the other teams offense - we just gotta do a better job rotating out to the open shooters...

 

Where are the folks who said this is going to be an easy win

 

I don’t know why people would say that considering they beat us last time on our home floor. Sengun struggles with physical bigs and Amen struggles to guard Cade. I knew it wasn’t going to be easy but the Rockets had opportunities. It doesn’t help that Ime took Okogie out when he played the best defense on Cade, and then Cade took over in the fourth.
