Yeah, we’re getting nothing out of fast break which was our bread and butter last season. I have no idea why Ime is insist on starting Adam when we clearly not having advantage on offense nor defense

The extra big line up works best as a change of pace. But that was not the reason we lost.

There was a good 4 minute stretch with no Durant or Sengun. The 6 point lead evaporated quickly.
If Alpi just has a bad shooting day, we win by 8 points.
Point Sengun while passing, 7 assists/ 2 turnovers with the pass of the week to Amen..blocked. 2 hockey assists.

What's the point of getting another center and playing him 3 minutes.

Green was nowhere this terrible in the paint even in his rookie year and this is a fact. Point is Sheppard’s play has been atrocious. But im not putting all the blame on him. Rockets overall d is poor and most of the players are lethargic. Just odd right now

I would prefer to start Reed to get better spacing for KD and Sengun. Moving forward we should go to double-big lineups for situational purposes

    Fire Ime
    Sengun is a fraud
    Brickari…nuff said
    Reed is a bust
    Start Okogie
    Another KD team that underperforms/implodes
    Did I miss anything? :D

Let me add my own (but serious): $7M on a third string center (when everyone and their mother was begging for another guard, even before Fred got hurt)

Like Demeco needing that 8th defensive end and 5th defensive tackle.

Udoka would love to start Sheppard, but that means he has to not be a traffic cone on defense. He made some threes tonight but was a -13 in his minutes.

I thought we got outworked.... they scored more in the paint than us, out rebounded us, beat us on 50/50 balls and was low energy which was surprising for a home opener. We will be fine but PG and defense needs some help. Last year...we all talked about how there was no shooter to close out close games...we have KD...scored 37 pts. in 28 mins. but HE needs to be taking the game winners. Agree we should have pursued PG help even before FVV injury as opposed to paying 7 mil for a 3rd string Center.

How did KD disappear? He kept us in the game and got us back late multiple times. What are you even rambling about ?

especially when the zone was used sparingly last year. In hindsight perhaps they should have traded Tari in that deal. Brooks to me is too valuable. But i supppse it came down to dollars and they had to move his contract. Brooks with KD would have been awesome to watch

I haven't posted much about Ime, but Okogie's defense was really bothering Cunningham. Last than 6 minutes to go, no Okogie but we see the ghost of Tari. Cunningham took over from that point. As a coach, you must be aware of has worked in any one particular game. Inexcusable on Ime's lack of awareness.

Fred was a big part of that defensive success.
