We're the laughing stock of the league, without an adequate PG.

I’m fine with giving either or both a chance. You need more than just Amen Thompson to guard quick perimeter players.

So many missed layups especially by Alpi and Reed. Bari absolutely has to hit that 3.

I agree. I am not a fan of this big line up. I don't think it works that well offensively, and we are getting cooked defensively. We are playing so slow, no transition buckets, Tari is ruined. I liked what we did in the 4th with KD and Alpi, but we need guard play, so badly. It's not Reed. I wouldn't even be mad if we started Okogie.

Damn almost forgot how this place becomes a cesspool with any adversity. It’s been two ****ing games, one of them being against the best team in the league on the road, and some of y’all are acting like the season is over.

Only if Alpi, Amen, Jabari, Tari and Reed cumulatively flatline, which is very doubtful.

Also, Okogie seems to be a big upgrade over Holiday (and even Reed) and DFS hasn't played yet.

Lastly, I said Fred's absence would make the season start even clunkier than normal.

After only two games, it is an overreaction to conclude this team is worse than last year. Let's give it a few more as they "gather more data" on what works and doesn't work.

i think we should insert holliday and tate. Maybe JD situationally. Bench Reed for now or deploy him when we need shooting. His role should only be to shoot when open nothing else

    You’re a coach right?

Again it’s obvious to anyone that’s played at a high level..if the rockets keep doing what they are gelling doesn’t matter

They’re playing pickup ball out there and will fail
    Miserably

The Rockets were ball watching instead of boxing out, and the Pistons play hard.

No. In final possession, KD was 1 on 1, but he still passed to Amen for desperate 3pt.

It took Jalen Green 4 seasons to become a good finisher around the rim, especially attacking the correct angles when receiving screens...honestly, the offense flowed better when Reed got some action with KD & Sengun. However, his presence on defense was like a kid in the candy store for the Pistons

It's tough to win when the opposing team shoots nearly 50% on 3s, and our "core" shoots abysmally. To say nothing about the reffing in this game. Detroit plays dirty.

The game was over at that point. It was 115-111 with five seconds left and the Pistons weren’t getting anywhere close to shooters because they had the game won.

There is no reason to whine about that.

He never was a point guard.
He was his most effective as a “free safety” with minimal responsibility on offense. Create havoc on defense. We’ve finally got a guy who can make buckets in a tight game and now we need a stop gap guy who can beat pressure and run the offense. I’d almost overpay for Jrue Holliday at this point.

yes its not all on reed but a lot of his plays have hurt this team the last 2 games. Team defense is also bad overall and the zone doesn’t work. Lets get tate and holliday and energy guys in there

We need to start Okogie over Adams.
