    This comes after Maduro told Trump hed be willing to give up all ties to China/Russia and open his country up to American businesses but the WH rejected

    Important to know that Venezuela produces heavy crude which our refineries at home are allowed to refine. Most of the oil thats produced right now in USA is light sour which we have to export to refine into gasoline. Having access to heavy crude is very important for US refineries bcz its the only thing they can refine.

    This is all about oil

    The craziest thing is Maduro offered full capitulation to Trump. He was willing to cut all ties with RU/China and open up all of his state corporations to american investors including all his natural resources.

    This is all about blood thirsty neocons wanting to bomb a inferior country.

    70% of crude that gets refined right now has a API of under 22. I never said no light crude gets refined. My point being the overwhelming majority of crude that gets refined is heavy which I'm right about.
