All three teams are extremely talented. Will be interesting to see which team has the best leadership, as that will likely determine best team success.

Also, other major factor is whom the national media falls in love, because they tend to swing the pendulum as to which team get the more favorable whistles by the refs.

Harden was despised by the national media here in Houston and we saw the effects of it. I think nowadays, with having played in the New York and LA markets, the national media begrudgingly cozies up to him. But Harden is way past his prime days.

Nevertheless doing the Texas triangle will test teams quite candidly.

Skeptical that this is going to be as flashy as you hope.
    • SA is a great organization but the lynchpin is the incredibly talented but also super-fragile Wemby.

    • Dallas is Dallas. Their biggest flaw is their front office. They lost Brunson, Luka and Porzingis within four years. That's a dynasty-caliber core. Now they have a busted center and an unproven rookie. Even if they do well, Nico Harrison will **** it up somehow, guaranteed.
We're lucky we don't have OKC in our division, which makes sense geographically.

As a Rockets fan, I hope they don't do well. It's the same division. The more chips we have on our side, the better.

Too bad we don’t have a good speedy rail system would be fun to hop a fast train and catch games in all three locations.

Dallas doesn’t belong in this equation

all they have is Cooper Flagg, who is no Wemby, and some overrated/injury prone aging stars

    ain’t nobody worried about them

Nah. Dallas is a lotto team. Rockets and Spurs are legit.

Most likely, but if AD and Kyrie do happen to stay healthy/get healthy, that team on paper is legit

Spurs are on borrowed time. They’re an inevitable Wemby LisFranc injury away from lottery land. Enjoy the handful of games he plays before he’s forced to retire due to injuries. #yaoming

I sorta feel the same way, we saw what happened with Yao and other tall and talented centers like Sampson or even a Rik Smits. You’re lucky to get a decade out of those guys especially at a high level, and Wemby is even thinner and plays a game that’ll put even more stress on his ankles and joints as time passes. It’ll be best for the Spurs to try to get a championship with him early or they could miss that window. Luckily for them they’re set up to contend quickly with them not having to give up any valuable assets in the Fox trade (which is still complete bs to me) and with them somehow getting the second pick in the draft lottery and taking Harper. It also doesn’t help that we allowed Castle to slip to them by taking Sheppard 1 pick ahead of him but that’s just something we have to live with if Reed can’t get it going, smh. And still have other young assets like Vassell, Sochan, Johnson, Bryant, and picks as depth or trade bait to bring in more talent
