The Thrombosis experience will make him much better and care about his career, a near career threatening experience always does.....

Dude would be playing if his life depended on it.

I really liked how someone brilliantly put it, that Wemby is the only player in history who would still be a rotation level player if you made him 18 inches shorter. We've never seen someone so big be so skilled and fluid.

If he is the average 6'6 or 6'5, he would still be an All Star.

If Wemby stays healthy, can ultimately become the best player in nba basketball history. Forget MJ, forget Kobe, forget Lebron.

And it’s so gross because we should have had the number 1 pick and drafted Wemby but Silver ****ed us and didn’t let us have it.

Wemby’s handles got so much tighter as well. It’s actually scary how good he is and I’m so ****ing jealous.

Wemby +340 MVP, Spurs +2,500 to +$3,500 to win West.

I'll see you all in May when I'm a multi thousand-aire from my MVP slip win and then we'll see if my emotional hedge in June makes me an even more thousand-aire!

The only thing is I hate the Mavs and Spurs franchises.

I want it to be the Texas Dot, where the dot is Houston.

Is this gonna start a trend for future players?

Kareem had Bruce Lee right at home to train with back in the day, while Wemby doesn't. And then he's like oh yeah? I can go straight to the source.

Where are all those fools who guaranteed Wemby wouldn't ever amount to anything? The guy is everything he was advertised to be. I'll admit I was skeptical up until the first time I watched him play but it just took one time for me to see the promise there. The only thing stopping him is physics and his own body. That's it. I feel like Amen will perhaps end up as one of the greatest wing defenders of all time but I'm also not sure if he ever wins DPOY because even being an athletic freak is trumped by being impossibly tall and fast like Wemby.

How many guys can make AD airball a mid-range jumper? My jaw hit the ground.

What makes Victor next-level on defense isn't just his crazy Mr. Fantastic type of vertical reach, it's the fact he can move horizontally quickly enough to make blow-bys near-impossible. LOL, it almost seems like he can block shots standing two-feet behind someone trying to finish at the rim.

His literal "sphere of influence" on defense is in a different galaxy from any player in NBA history. Health is the only thing stopping him from winning DPOY every year.

The video of him at that temple was PR garbage. I think we can see right now, during his long layoff, Victor was very dedicated to basketball and used the time wisely.

The league gifting them the number one pick when Wemby was in the draft didn't hurt.

I am convinced if healthy Wemby would be the next Lebron and rule the NBA for the next 2 decades.

But I also think a guy who is 7'6 isnt supposed to be this strong, coordinate, fast, athletic and skilled. He will most likely have a short career and once he gets his first major injury he will start having all sorts of problems. The stress on his 7'6 frame due to gravity and the amount of impact he has to absorb playing NBA games will take its toll.
