Lol the projection from you is hilarious.

Anyway, as much fun as I have making fun of you, I'm going to go ahead and block you now for the good of the board. Perhaps you'll stop derailing threads down on your knees for your boyfriend if you think no one is watching your PDA.

    Take care kiddo.

you're comparing reed in his first year as opposed to Jalen in his 4th year. One player has prob less than 1000 minutes played against one who has over 10000? I never said reed played great but I do believe his minutes were inconsistent. Meanwhile Jalen was groomed as #1 option so relatively he was trash and wildly inconsistent considering he is in his 4th year and really all we have to look at is how bad he was in his 1st playoff.

Had one ball out game and 6 games where he was completely missing. If he didn’t have the break out game he would be averaging single digit PPG as a number 1.

The fact our organization was only willing to let him go out of all our bench and starters just show how little faith the organization had in him and keep in mind Stone had to defend him after the playoffs just to keep what little value he had afloat.

Reeds minutes werent inconsistent he just played bad so he had limited minutes. Just compare Reeds first year to Jalen first year Jalen playing on a bad team as the first option scored more than 4 pts on 35% FG.

Yes JG had a bad playoff series it happens. But our playoffs were just 7 games he had 82 games where he played better. Reed also had like 5 good games but he played 52 games and most of those he was bad. So its not like Reed had inconsistent mins its just that when you are shooting 35% you wont get a lot of minutes.

So are you willing to take up Bobby's challenge and bet me 100 usd Reed will get a higher contract? If he is better than Jalen he would get paid.

Pass from the pelicans game that also didn't. end up in a stat.

Rockets havent had a guy who makes passes like this since Harden.

Almost as good as Okogie's pass to Alvarado a moment later.

Reed should start tomorrow. He probably won't but he should. The more he advances the better we'll be come May.

Apparently Reed's block rate last year was tied for the best rookie block rate in NBA history by a PG.

Him and Eason should of been shipped out for KD and we kept JG… now we got a always injured Amen, a injured FVV, a midget combo guard who can’t shoot or defend and Eason playing like he’s on sleeping pills

Reed's 1st test at PG was against the defending champs. I think he did what he could. He'll figure things out and be the player we drafted at #3.

He was trash. He might grow into being a great PG. But we have three years max. He is not ready now and we need someone. Jrue Holiday.

Reed Sheppard is a damn bust.. nothing about his skill set says top 3 NBA pick.. honestly he doesn't even look like a NBA player. Draft redo.. he's a second round developmental talent. How the hell did this completely ordinary player go top 3 in any NBA draft? Being undersized he doesn't even have any standout skills, he can't beat people off the dribble.. his 3pt shooting sucks (inconsistent at the very best) , has zero vision/passing skills, and he also has zero handles. That's not even bringing up his glaring deficiencies on the defensive end. He's a G League player.

Can't defend, can't score, meh handle, doesn't even have that high level of bbiq as he is rumored to have. Even Dort can freely scores on him. Also a top 3 pick but 10 times worse than Jalen Green. Yet still, Steve Nash, Steph Curry, John Stockton, and Mark Price.

I've seen Reed targeted before, but this was by far the worst I've seen it. I still think the offense will be fine, but POA defense seems to be getting worse. The disruption stuff only is a benefit if the POA isn't this bad.

Granted, OKC is the best team in the NBA and it took them 2 overtimes to win. I think the Rockets can still survive minutes with him, but those minutes might be rough.

It's also important to note, that despite the narrative, his plus/minus was 0....so it's not like OKC was going on big runs with him on the court.

It's just one game overreaction for the most part.

Amen gets beat (not that often) and he more than recovers, he has the lateral quickness, he has superhuman quickness.

Reed gets beat, and it is ball watching......

Keep in mind, Amen only played 1 NBA year more than Reed, it is not like he has that much experience....we are talking about physical tools and physical talents.

Reed was drafted one spot higher than Amen (albeit weaker draft) .....Night and Day.

Reed, a second year player who only sniffed 2 or 3 games last season, went up against the reigning NBA champ's league best defense and MVP offense. Yes he has deficiencies. Yes he will grow out of them with experience. If no significant trade for a starter quality guard happens by the trade deadline, the rockets will need him to level up come playoff time, and that means good reps on the court.
