This dude said Reed was fine lmao. Reed should be on the bench or in the G-league.

Im not worried about a talented 2nd year player learning the hardest position in sports outside of QB. We have bigger issues than Reed Sheppard not being an All Star in his 50th pro game or whatever.

If we had anybody other than Sengun who could hit a 3, he would have had 8-10 assists- Finally somebody sees it. Amen was finding so many open shots for his mates on those drive and kicks. He was wrecking OKC's defense to no avail. Great observation.

Amen took 7 three pointers. I didn’t see that coming.

Really 8 - they took away the one he made because his toe was on the line.

Incredible game! Yes, we lost. But we are playing a whole new lineup and system and this is just game 1! And even still, we took the defending champs to double overtime and lost by 1 lousy point! You can see the room for improvement, and they will improve. I'm excited for the next game!

Gabe Vincent also in his last year with the Fakers. No way they trade with the Rockets?

Surprised to see Amen at -11 in +/-
One game isn’t a big deal, just didn’t seem that way.

I lost the moneyline and Amen assists but won the rest! Still, wish the rockets would have won

Nah we should trade Reed 50 games into his career because he struggled a bit against the Champs in their building on ring night.

Rockets just will never figure out how to close games on the road. Been years since they knew how

OKC went 36-6 at home last year. Game is played in Houston, they win.

Team struggled due to trying to find an identity without a PG.

I think Reed can be that guy, but he needs to work on keeping guys in front of him.

Think better performances out of Reed, Tari, getting Durant more involved would have been a 5-7 point win last night.

Still, they missed a FT late from a career 90% shooter. All last night proved is as they currently sit, they are equals with the best team in basketball. Praying for health.

What other options do they have right now? It's one game and I will never understand the fans the sky is falling attitude with these things. If they look and play like this 2-3 months from now, then call me out. But let's all relax and have some patience. For this team, it's about Playoff time.

I see everyone looking for positives saying, "at least we took the champs to 2OT without FVV" lets not forget OKC didn't have arguably their 2nd best player either and shot horrendous from 3 for much of the game and we still lost.

That said, it's just game 1.

Even if we had won, I would not have felt good about our struggles.

Gotta do a better job of getting Durant the ball. That 4th quarter and OT offense was a carbon copy of what happened last season. I miss Jalen Green.

I wouldve felt amazing we managed to beat the reigning champs on the road 5v8.

Dwight Finney Smith would of been on SGA that is where the game was lost. I believe we have to double-team SGA like OKC double-teaming Alpi. Rockets had to grind every basket while OKC was fluid offensively mainly from driving to the basket at will. We need to have Alpi when double team comes throw the ball out not hold it when OKC defense are swarming. OKC is a top-tier defensive team so we took it to them. Love KD's heart, but worry at his age if he can sustain it because Durant is not a 82 game player. He won't be playing against inferior teams in a back-to back. We can beat OKC in a series.

If DFS was active, Reed Sheppard would not be playing much because of matchup problem.
