This is pretty ridiculous. I know those teams aren’t good right now, but the Rams scored 17 on the Ravens. We scored 44. We obviously were playing better despite the worse opponents.

I guess everyone was right, they got fat and happy on the bye week, which is outrageous for a 2-3 football team.

They literally reverted back to some of the worst, most egregious tendencies. It was sickening to watch.

I mean, the proof is in the pudding. Ravens have the worst defense in the league and the Titans aren’t far behind them.
Those are the only games we have looked remotely competent on O, and the Titans game was only a quarter or so.

Puka got hurt against the Ravens and they were never in danger of losing that game

I’m not gonna waste time arguing this. They executed better, had higher football IQ, ran better plays (QB SNEAK!! FB DIVE!!) etc etc etc against those teams and they threw it in the garbage during the bye week.

Yes strength of opponent matters but doesn’t change my opinion they regressed since then. But it’s cool it’s not worth going back and forth on this.

That’s fair, I’m not trying to argue about it.

It really does. When your offensive line is pushed straight up, seriously. I don't think I have seen that before.

Can someone gif when Nick Caley was on his knees and scratching his head while looking at his tablet after the 3 failed attempts to get 1 yard at the goal line. He looked mystified.

Nah they just needed a competent QB because Scheichen is one of those QB whisperer. And you see a lot of vet QBs have some success in the league now after being written off because the icing caught up to their physical abilities.

It wasn’t just a competent qb. Ballard finally got rid of his boy Gus Bradley as DC and replaced him with Bengals DC Lou Anarumo. That imo was a more significant change than Indianapolis Jones.

Remember how we thought we had a run game & Oline week one 2024 bc we dog walked their DL to the tune of 100+yds rush. Yeah that’s was because Bradley was ass. Dude was trying to implement the Legion of Boom D except he didn’t have HoF DBs.

Anyway Demeco needs an experienced OC. Mike Mcarthy, maybe Mike McDaniels, Stafanski, Zac Taylor if he gets canned. They all have questions marks but at least when and if they get canned it wasn’t bc their side of the ball was a$$.

NO BRIAN DAIBOL if he’s available. That dude is a tantrum throwing opportunist toddler GRADE A a$$hole.

You can bet they'll come in with strategies to exploit the Texans' many, many flaws.

The O line is averaging more time before pressure than last year and are right at league average for this season...in case anyone was wondering.

Demeco needs to make a call to Old Man Kubiak. Could fix the o line and CJ this offseason. Let him take over the offense the way he let Wade Phillips take over the defense.

It is not just pressure. They have no push in the run game. So teams can rush 4 and drop 7 because there is no run threat. So, no one is open or getting separation. Stroud either needs to run more or throw it away. EVERYTHING still comes down to the Oline.
