U know how rare it is to hear this man talk anymore? Unless it’s some Instagram video of him in Ibiza.

    So far, the good:
    • KD looks like classic KD, everything we hoped/expected.
    • Alpi knocking down threes.
    • Defense still overall looks stifling without FVV & Dillon
    • Reed looks fine on offense so far, 2-4 from three and making some good passes.
    The bad:
    • Amen's preseason shooting isn't translating tonight, looks like he's rushing and his mechanics are breaking down.
    • Reed's point of attack defense looks too exploitable, albeit he's making up for it somewhat with his stocks.
    • Jabari looks like he's trying too hard to be KD. Let KD be KD, we need you to keep the ball moving and space the floor.
    The ugly:
    • A number of stupid costly mistakes, primarily by Tari and Okogie.

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to him. He's so competitive and has a pure love for the game. Everything still matters to him.

Honestly I can stand Tari doing Tari stuff and Okagi turned on us for that last possession but I just cannot handle Reggie bias commentary against HOU

Most unstoppable pure offensive player of all time

and I said this during Harden's 36ppg season. KD chooses to shoot much less and plays off the ball.

Needs more pensioners doing cool **** with dinnerware to be honest. Maybe shoot one out of a cannon, give them a late-life cheap thrill. Win-win.

Lot's of stuff to discuss after that first half. I'll mention some things that may be skipped over.

1 At first, Reed looked unplayable, but he righted the ship on defense and nailed a couple of 3s. Keep in mind OKC is probably the worst matchup in the NBA for him.

2 As I wished for, Okogie has pushed Holiday completely out of the rotation. He's the exact kind of rotation player the Rockets need against a team like OKC but he's gotta be smarter.

3 Tari's defense was on point but he looked terrible on the other end.

4 Don't complain too much about Alpi on offense because stopping him is priority #1 for OKC. They might switch the toggle over to KD in the 2nd half.

    No he isn't.

Wilt Chamberlain changed the rules against him.

Michael Jordan changed the rules for him.

I'm not even sure what to say about that half of basketball, but there's one thing I do know. The fact that I'm more comfortable when the ball is in Reed's hands than anyone else's is maybe not the best short-term sign.

I'm just saying, him talking about himself is not exactly paying it forward.

Hakeem working with young players that want to improve their game is paying it forward.

Dogs walking on basketballs is a way better halftime show than little kid dance squads. That's just the truth...

Wilt played against relative scrubs and as soon as the league got some more 7 footers he disappeared.

MJ was the best in a HIGHLY competitive era.
