    14. Kevin Durant

Though his jumper is still “easy money,” Durant last year had a negative plus-minus for the first time since his age-20 season in 2008-09.

    (Down 2 spots)

    29. Alperen Sengun
Sengun made his all-star and postseason debuts in 2024-25, displaying remarkable craft with the ball and some needed progress on the defensive end.

    (Up 16 spots)

    33. Amen Thompson
The basketball intelligentsia’s new favorite player pairs all-world athletic tools with a menacing competitive edge, though the jumper is still a work in progress.

    (Unlisted previous year)

    88. Jabari Smith Jr.
There’s still time for a breakthrough, but the 2022 No. 3 pick has yet to translate his versatility into game-wrecking defense or impact scoring.

    (Up 7 spots)

For those wondering... Jalen Green listed as #95 with an 11 spot drop-off... behind Kessler, Podziemski, Vucevic.

Alpi will be top 10 when this list comes out next year and Reed will make the list but only time will tell where he lands.

Edit- Amen will be much higher next year too. If he shoots well this season he could also be top 10.

I don't really care very much about these various player rankings but Sengun was actually worse last year than the previous year (23-24). Green was pretty much the same.

...his defense jumped so did his stamina. For Green, his consistency got worse.
