Yeah I don't think it'll be a huge issue, because I actually think he's going to get his without having to be selfish tbh and I don't think Ime will stand for it. But it's clear from his interviews and play in preseason that Tari's got an axe to grind this season. We just need him to keep it on the productive side so it doesn't mess up the season.

 

It's not perfect but it's what it reminds me of

Fans act like they love players with all their hearts, but once the player has a disagreement with the franchise and wants to move on, large groups of the fanbase can turn rabidly hateful on a dime.

Doesn't even need to be that bad. Whilst I was out on him by the end, some of the **** people said about Jalen Green just because of an inconsistent jump shot was genuinely sickening. That one dude basically said he would've made Jalen his sex slave in high school, because that's apparently normal? Some real vile **** was said in all honesty, and again, his biggest crime was an inconsistent shot. He never even really said anything negative about the team.

 

Braun got his extension. Very similar contract to Bari’s. The 2022 draft is shaping up to be a really solid and deep class.

 

Where are you seeing that they didn't reach an agreement? Not sure anything definitive has come out yet?

Shams is very definitive. He said on ESPN Eason will likely not reach a deal to be extended though he did say anything can happen before the deadline

Tari's situation is unique, and the RFA might be the best way to determine the right and fair value. Either way, we can just blame the mom, okay?

I don’t get this kid. With DFS and Okogie getting minutes, how is he going to establish value? You have injury issues… brilliance yes, but only in short stretches. And now he is in a jammed rotation…. I think someone is giving him bad advice:

If he don't take the 15M/year, I got a feeling he's gonna get injured and screw himself over. All it takes is another season of injuries for teams to stay away from him.. plus, are there even any teams with cap space to give him 20M/year?

It's gonna suck for both sides if he doesn't take the deal, he's gonna be bitter and might even blame the Rockets for an even lower deal next summer and we might be forced to trade him. We can't have one disgruntled player holding us hostage when we're trying to stay below the 1st apron for flexibility.
