Or like a guy who won't be there to enjoy the #1 pick in the draft next season

The brand isn't sexy no matter who they play. A Patriots or Chiefs level run is all that will save it and make them popular outside Houston.

Jets should hit the panic button and call the giants for Jameis

Patriots are lucky to have McDaniels. He’s a failed head coach who will be a permanent OC. Schemes up consistent open plays and one on one shots. He really hides Maye’s flaws well. Maye has bailed the pocket every single time the first read isn’t open. They still have 31 points. Offensive competency at a premium there.

    Just stop.
Every time you do this you make yourself look less and less knowledgeable

Just because a QB is better than ours, doesn’t mean they’re a one read QB.
Just plain stupidity, bordering on Jealousy.

McDaniels is literally known to have one of the more complex schemes in the game with a lot of responsibility on the QB and WRs being on the same page.
    From the Erhadt-Perkins principles.
And somehow he’s a one read Greg Roman type now.
    Jealousy is an ugly look

Maye is not better than Stroud. I know you LOVE you some Maye, like you LOVED Mayo Boy. However, Maye is not better...

He is very clearly playing better than Stroud. That isn’t debatable.
Every stat and metric backs this up. He even had a better passer rating last season.
While also being far more physically gifted.

Maye is basically managing the game as McDaniels is calling it. This is what a great OC does. What Maye is not doing is carrying that offense. He STILL hasn't had a game with more than 3 TD passes or more than 290 yards.

He didn’t come off read 1 all game. All game. If it wasn’t there, he left the pocket. McDaniels is a great OC. Watch the tape.

This is just a completely dumb take.
McDaniels runs the most complicated system in the league.
Maye is averaging over a yard better in YPA than CJ.
He is outplaying him by a significant amount, with nowhere near the talent around him. Their best skill player is Diggs

    This is just complete lies.
You have to be a better person than just flat out lying.

McDaniels is not running the same offense that Brady ran. It is less complicated, with same concepts. He knows he has a young QB.

You are looking at stats. WATCH the game. One read...

It is the same offense, with less installed. But at no point has it ever been a one read, simple offense.
    That was CJ last season.

Maye is playing much better than Stroud is this season and last season for that matter.

Again, the "brand" has absolutely nothing to do with the time of the MNF game...which is what we're actually talking about

Please continue to b!tch about the team name all you want. If there were clouds in Houston I'd ask you to yell at them.

You didn't see the Titans game. He has one read...all game, then uses his legs. Stroud's performance last year was affected by the Oline and lack of scheme adjustments. We will see going forward what Stroud does.

He stepped up into the pocket and made accurate throws. He scrambled with success as a last resort. Maye is a young rising star at the QB position. Why is it when you like a QB and the QB messes up it's always the coaches fault? When you dont like a QB it's the coaches that made the QB successful?
