He literally said, on camera, that he cheated on the max vertical. He kept his standing reach lower by holding his shoulder down, then benefited from the subtraction. You are arguing a ‘fact’ that the person in question doesn’t even argue was a lie.

You are epitome of ignorance meeting arrogance.

Kid, I know you REALLY want my attention, but embarrassing yourself like this over and over again isn't the way to go.

No one is confusing anything. People are saying that his max vertical is lower than the official positing, which is also something Reed Sheppard himself says.

We can all keep explaining it to you, but we cannot understand it for you.

Honestly, you might be the most worthless person I’ve ever encountered. It would be funny if it weren’t sad. I legitimately feel bad for you - I’ll try to leave you alone so you can retreat to your happy place where your toes are visible and the shack is a palace.

LOL, okay, I'll play along my slow witted friend.

Let's assume your premise that he somehow "cheated" the measurement...by how much do you think that could have even possibly changed the result, and is it your suggestion that he's the only person that has ever done this?

Obviously this isn't a serious argument.

The issue here is that a group of feeble minded individuals conflate max vert testing for dunk prowess and they are not the same thing.

Is that why you've been throwing a tantrum for so long desperately trying to get my attention? You get that I laugh at you literally every time you pull this BS, right? You're essentially nothing more than a clown, and you lack the self awareness to realize it. You don't make valid arguments, you just throw tantrums. It's pathetic.

You were wrong - saying the max vertical is a fact. I pointed out that the guy who took the test admitted he fudged it. You responded saying “Kid, I know you really want my attention …”

But, you’re right. I throw tantrums while you make sober and coherent arguments.

    Kiddo.

The test results are a fact, you suggesting that there was some kind of "cheating" going on is just your attempt to deny reality because you prefer to at least pretend to believe your own delusions instead.

I noticed that you dodged the question when I asked how much you think your theory of "cheating" could have even possibly altered the results....which is why you are nothing more than a clown. Deep down, you must know that you are a pathetic loser for this ridiculous shtick, but you keep doing it anyway.

He said his coach showed him a trick, in a self deprecating way while joking.

For you guys that have never been tested or have been a part of that process. There’s a specific way for all athletes to measure.
There is no way to just keep your shoulder down with arm not extended.
The shoulder has to touch cheek and/or ear with a completely locked elbow and open shoulder.
They can “shrug” but the arm has to be in a specific spot.
There’s zero chance that the variance is over 1 inch, maybe two for extremely tall players.
Specially for testers at that level.
There is no way possible for any player/athlete to “game” 3-7 inches in vert like one idiot is saying.
    It isn’t possible.

But, I know some of yall don’t want to believe fact because your eyes say no way

To spell this out for everyone, Reed Sheppard in no way would benefit from making his standing reach appear worse than it really is....because that's a more important measurement to scouts than max vertical.

In this instance, the max vertical was something that helped make up for his poor standing reach just a bit, but not entirely.

Also, shortening his standing reach by, let's say an inch to increase his max vert by an inch is a net negative for him as a prospect and he hits the exact same spot when he jumps.

The reality is that he's a prospect with relatively short arms by NBA standards (normal by human standards) who has a very strong leaping ability that allows him to challenge shots he otherwise wouldn't be able to with his relatively short arms.

Don't worry, i don't think you really need to take it seriously when somebody who thinks Reed has more hops than young D.Rose calls you names. He's obviously r****ded.

I’m not very high on Reed as many here know but if anyone asked my opinion it would be to go ahead and start Reed on Tuesday and the first few games. I think just the spacing and getting Sengun and KD going early outweighs the couple extra offensive rebounds you’ll likely get early on starting Adams.

Down the stretch though I can see Adams and Capela playing the double big more than the normal/smaller lineup.

I've actually come to the conclusion he is just trolling with an intentionally hateable persona. There is just no way someone can be both THAT ignorant and THAT arrogant. One or the other, perhaps, but he is the Ohtani of being the loudest and the wrongest simultaneously.

The one that gets me is his weird obsession with calling people "kiddo" like that gives him some superiority or something. Gives off massive paedo vibes tbh but the dude really does just come across like a complete d******d lol.

You idiots believe anything. The dude was joking about having a good vertical and made a self deprecating joke.
And, insight is what you actually lack. I’ve trained these athletes and have been at combines where they test. That’s insight.
You idiots don’t believe actual facts because your eyes can’t believe something.

    So maybe you should sybau

Honestly because of some of these idiots I'm going to have to institute a new policy where I proactively block anyone that gives me genuine reason to believe they are more than a standard deviation below the mean IQ. It's just not worth it.
