KD and Tari Extension Threads

I could see 4/80 but I'd want at a bare minimum the last year (ideally the last two years) to be team options due to the leg thing. If all four years are guaranteed, I'm hoping for a lower number. I guess it depends somewhat on what the medical staff is telling them though

Most I give Tari is 4 years 62

4th year team option.

 

The Durant extension makes it almost certain that the Rockets will extend Tari before the season. I could see a team option or two depending on the length of the contract. Something like 4 years/90 Million with the fourth year being a team option of $24/25Million. So 3 years $65/66 Million guaranteed. It also wouldn’t surprise me if the first year salary is higher than the 2nd year before popping back up in years 3-4. I think they will try to drop under the luxury tax at some point to avoid the most onerous tax penalties.

Tari could lock in generational wealth or he could take a great risk of trying to earn more as a RFA - which is a bad bet under current CBA as we saw this summer. Get it done Stone!

 

Tari has played in 22 and 57 games the last two years.

Team isn't going to give him the deal he probably is really worth. Hopefully they can meet in the middle somewhere.

Please let KD’s discount be so we could sign Tari. It’s really 100% sure Tari is gone if we don’t honestly. And it would be a serious mistake too and I’d never forgive Stone.
