The team has scored 140 and 130 on a regular basis now, I am wondering if we see the same thing during the Season.....

The regular season will be a bigger challenge than the preseason. I think the Rockets will have some more games when they score 120 than they did last season.

Yes, we are a much better offensive team now.

We would likely win in the 75-78 game range and be the greatest team ever by a mile. It would make the jordan bulls and KD warriors look like the wizards. Works for me.

We may not average 140 a game. But without doubt our offence has improved. Essentially we replaced our inefficient top scorer with an extremely efficient top scorer who can actually pass as well.
On top of this we have freed shots for other guys.
What will hold us back is possibly PG play against stiffer defensive teams

I'm planning on enjoying the ride!!

Offense is an after thought for Ime. Even if we had the personnel to avg +130, Ime can't / won't get it done. Reed might not get his shot at starting 5 because of his defense obsession.

Not a problem though. As long as we secure top 2 seed to avoid OKC until WCF, I'm good.

Our pace should be better than last year with the subtraction of Jalen Green. If we figure out how to mitigate Fred's absence properly, we can even take it to the next level. Exciting season ahead.

Ime might cost this team a championship if he continues to lock in only on defense.

It's clear our offense got better this year and a lot of that has to do with everyone taking a step up.

Yea, adding KD helped but as you saw last night, even our 3rd stringers looked good.

Our defense might take a hit in the long run because Dillon Brooks was a big part of that defensive culture but we also lost Jalen Green, who was inefficient on many nights while he took a lot of shots.

Like a lot of people said, losing FVV might be a blessing in disguise because him and Jalen took a lot of shots last year and now Jabari and Amen, get more opportunities to score. KD so far has played really unselfish basketball and has passed up alot of shots in favor of his teammates. But KD still got it because everytime we needed a bucket when the shotclock was low, he would score at will. That's what we really needed last year and KD is definitely that go-to guy on this team.

I can see us being a top 5 offense and around 10-12th defensively.
In the end, a Rose by any other name would still smell as sweet, sweet 55 wins.
Ime is going to have to trade in his construction gear for some aircraft marshaller gear.

We look like a team with a top 10 offense and a top 5 defense. I don't think we'll miss Dillon on either end of the court. Okogie, DFS, and the personal development of everyone else should push us to another level.

Oh yeah, and we'll be the top rebounding team in the league. If Amen has everything click into place, we're going to be a lot of trouble for the league.

This pace isn’t sustainable long term, but what we’re seeing right now is a clear improvement in ball movement, offensive flow, and overall efficiency , which naturally leads to higher scoring outputs. We probably have the best pure scorer in the league, and the key difference is that he combines elite scoring ability with high basketball IQ and strong leadership. He understands when to attack, when to facilitate, and doesn’t just force drives into traffic like Jalen did so often last season.

On top of that, you can already see Ime making a conscious effort to establish a more defined pecking order. That structure alone eliminates a lot of the confusion we had in previous seasons, and it’s setting the foundation for a much more consistent and effective offense this year.

lol. As long as Ime is smart enough to bench the starters and start 3rd stringers against other teams' starters, we'll be ok.
