Third string center isn't entirely accurate. Sengun will be playing a lot of power forward and Adams will most likely be starting a lot of the games. 3rd string centers don't normally get the playing time Clint will be getting. You also have to realize that most of our players aren't even eligible for trade until December. I don't recall the entire list but I am pretty sure Clint is on it.
How much playing time do you think Clint will actually get on the floor? I know December 15th is when players who signed new deals become eligible to be traded, but most of the guys we can move right now are the younger ones, and it’s not really worth giving them up. So if we’re going to make a move, we’ll probably have to wait until then.
On average 15 minutes a game. Also Adams wont be playing back to backs most likely and they will probably rest Adams on games we should win vs lesser teams. Clint will be getting his fair share of playing time even more so that Fred is out, not less.
They are the available players that are most coveted, I would imagine. I think they would be packaged together for a big fish, if anything.
I don't want Tari to go but unless he's willing to take a little under 20M so we don't run into an apron situation next year, I can see Tari being moved with FVV at the ASB for a piece. Personally, I feel like Clint is overpaid even tho it's just 7m.. but with his injury history and how much he's slowed down, he really should be at vet min at this stage of his career.
