It's so weird, she went on the View, is standing her ground for her constituents, she is nutty but I give her credit for what's she has done on the E Files and Insurance, she's fighting for the people who voted for her, not the wanna be king.....................what a novel approach

My slightly more cynical view is she spent the first 6 months of the Trump admin fading back into obscurity without the easy MAGA target of Biden to let her crazy flag fly which was always good for getting front page copy. She has spent the last month or two right back in the headlines by railing slightly more respectfuly and less bat-****-crazily against Trump. Striking an opositional but sufficently respectful tone against Trump is an acomplishment, but otherwise, I see someone who was fading out of the spotlight and just decided to adapt what brought her noteriety in the first place. Again, credit for successfuly adapting it and nailing the tone. Otherwise it was the obvious solution to an obvious "q rating" problem. Her brand is redneck opposition to power. She just needed a while to work through adapting it to a less oppositonal opponent. Cynically, i think it is a ploy for relevance/noteriety more than anything. Her type of people would be perfecty happy following Trump off of a cliff, but they might forget who MTG was in the process.
She seems a lot happier than before. I believe it may be due to her making a **** load of money by insider trading. She joined the party and is having tons of fun with that now. Some of it could be she's grown tired of the lack of respect from Trump despite her loyalty over the years. Anyone remember Trump walking past her a couple years ago on the tarmac as he exited the plane? I still don't trust her to do the right thing until she actually does the right thing when the votes matter.
She has always been a populist and she sees the winds of change happening... MAGA is oversaturated and it's policies are pretty unpopular with the general electorate.
