The two games that the Pats won, he only had 6 total pass attempts. I think he got hurt in those games. Somehow, the Pats won games only when Maye got knocked out of the game. His only win was against the terrible Bears. Glazing a dude that one one game his whole rookie season, over CJ Stroud who won 10 games + a playoff game, is pretty damn hilarious. That's why people say you're a hater because of how preposterous it is.
You do realize before the last 2 games CJ has been rated as the worst QB in the NFL over the last 13 games? Being a CJ fan doesn't mean that you have to tear other QB's down. BTW, the Pats didn't/dont have the defense the Texans do either.
This comes across as intentionally disingenuous. The talent around CJ is miles better than any the Pats have had. You know that. I’m all for having wins as a QB stat but there is gray areas and qualifiers as well.
disingenuous is thinking stats from a 1-10 QB is the same as stats from a 10-7 QB. How many exotic looks were they giving Maye, how many soft coverages were they giving him. There is no high level strategy needed when playing a bad team like the Pats last year. Let's also look at level of competition. Stroud was doing this against a first place schedule, Chiefs Ravens Bills. Even this year, Drake Maye has not played a good team. The Bills just got beat by Penix
Stroud wasn’t good last year-at all. He was helped by the talent more than he helped that talent. Maye was literally all they had last year. And this year, who have we beat? Our two wins are against two of the worst teams in the league and one defense that is all time level bad. I get it, I also want the Texans to be better. I want CJ to be better. But I don’t think it’s really a debate who’s doing better this year or even last year-specially when situations are factored in. And to be fair, you were one of the main ones that said Maye would not be good and that CJ would be clearly better.

On Target Throw %- 26th Texans Jaguars-7th Tampa- 24th Tenn- 26th Ravens-31st Rams- 3rd Average Ranking- Middle of the pack defense Tape- Full read Qb, scrambles to throw, will run if nothing is there. On Target Throw %- 6th. This isn't fantasy football but go on please. Please explain to me how the tape is worse, he beat 1 team last year and is now been better for a year and a half. Also, none of your analysis is remotely accurate. It’s your opinion. Stroud has had one good game and one good quarter against the Titans this season. We are -13 in point differential with the best scoring defense in the league outside of Baltimore and Tennessee’s games. I’ll give it to you though, you are extremely good at making excuses.
So Drake Maye can only be good if CJ is not good? Can CJ be good so Drake can be bad? I’m confused as to why both can’t be good? Young QBs go through growing pains. Both are learning new systems. Drake has been better against lesser competition and very consistent regardless, but CJs ravens game looked better than Drake at any point this season. Both are good, young growing QBs.
