I would worry about it a lot more if it was a guy I expected to play a key role on this team

If he sucks in real games we'll just waive him

And that’ll mean both Adams and Capela will always be fresh and that’ll be huge for us

Capela looks done. And he’s honestly pretty injury prone.

The bigger issue in my opinion is his salary. That extra couple million difference between Capela and a minimum guy would allow us to sign a vet to plug the hole left by FVVs injury, for example.

Meanwhile Pistons fans are crashing out because Ausar has looked terrible in pre-season games compared to Amen.

I think the front office and Ime are pretty set on milking Sengun so they want to make sure he has adequate rest, backup, and options

Jabari has graduated from Summer League MVP to Preseason MVP in a few years. Regular Season MVP and Finals MVP incoming :)

Great game. Rockets are a serious contender now that Jabari has grown up.

I am shocked to admit it but DD is right, FVV was holding us back. The ball is better in Sengun, Amen and KD's hands. The ball just zips everywhere whereas before it was always dribble dribble dribble hand off to Sengun with 10 secs left.

Double big so far is showing it works, Sengun is a great PF. The front court of Adams and Sengun is the best in the world IMO. Having KD as an escape valve is the best luxury.

Rocket size and length is gonna be a problem, Jabari, Amen and KD just punish guys half their size. However, having Jabari and KD together makes the defense worse, Jabari is too slow to guard SF and KD too old to guard Sgs. Insert DFS or tari and make Jabari come off the bench IMO is the way.

Big weakness though is Clint Capela. Is he just washed? Atlanta always seems to sell us lemons starting from that dude who became a priest.

They plan to play him in second back to back games and also in some double big lineups depending on the matchups. He still is a deterrent in the paint and rim protector.

LOL I was with you until you said make Jabari come off the bench. That’s a wild take after the way he’s been playing lol. Been our most consistent player probably so far in preseason. Jabari is never going back to bench again if he keeps playing like this. And rightfully so.
