How about using Houston instead a proper city name on the Jersey and on the Court. H-Town is very cringe, who says that Rappers? Bun B and all these Rappers are going into meetings giving Jersey ideas is ridiculous.
This is 95% of what needs to be said. Next time they reach the WCFs or Finals, the discussion may have merit.
As someone who is not 80 and yelling at clouds , H-Town is a current way to represent the city we love. We moved out of state and even the locals here say H-Town when talking about Houston. Ketchup and mustard is iconic, but let’s create a new thing and not hold on to the past forever
The thing I don't like about H-Town or referring to people by their initials is that there are so many possible meanings. For instance, H-Town could be Huntsville, Harrisburg, Honolulu, Harlingen, Hampton, Hurst, or any of the other 963 towns in the US that start with the letter H. There is nothing unique about it. If you say Houston, you know it's referring to Houston. If you say Clutch City, you know it's referring to Houston. Oh, and get some real uniforms again.
We have to do something clutch to retain that moniker. Otherwise, we’re just referencing the glory years of 3 decades ago and it highlights just how long it’s been.
They have 1 jersey that says H-town and it lasts 1 season. And they use Clutch City all the time. I'm for all of them. There is 1 definitive H town. If you ask 100 people, 100 would say its Houston. Only Rockets/NBA fans know what Clutch City is Agreed on the jerseys tho, current home/away are trash
Yeah why would people associate Clutch City with the Rockets when the last time they won it all was 30 years ago and its been mostly Choke City since
I mean if that’s what you or people actually consider to be actual “songs” . thank god for the samples. because eesh. now that is cringe. but yeah that shyt gets to influence so much crap around the league and where has it gotten htown all these years?
As Sonny(Kevin Costner) said in the movie DraftDay, “When we start winning again, we’ll go back to that”
