    EDIT: Abandoned slow format and changed to live format, set for Sunday, Oct.19, 8 pm EST.

    Okay, I guess we will try to bang out a slow draft. We need to get through 13 rounds in 8 days so we'll see how it goes.

    Please make your picks here in this thread and tag the next person up. I will input them on the league website as we go. We will have a 4 hour timer starting with the first pick of round 2, and possibly reduce to 3 hrs at a later point if necessary. If you will be away for an extended time, leaving a list of player names with someone is encouraged. Good luck everyone -- hopefully this works out. lol

    @fadeaway - Something I wasn't sure about. Obviously, we can trade players. But, what about picks...Like the next pick, if I had a taker, could I trade it for someone's first two picks?

    Yeah, draft pick trades are fine as long as both sides have an equal number of picks being exchanged.

    Also, it seems this slow draft is not really working. I don't know what I was thinking. I am of the mind to scrap it and go back to the original idea of a live draft, maybe next Sunday evening.

    Perhaps, once we get past the first...everybody knows, and is on the same page..3 hr limits. In theory, it should run smoothly? I don't know. :confused:

    The football draft started very slowly, too. First round was especially rough as people realized we had started.

    Ok I'm pulling the plug and officially changing it to a live draft for Sunday, Oct.19, 8 pm EST.

    If anyone has a major issue with date or time, please let me know.

    Apologize for the delay. I didn’t realize we had started up for this year until seeing an email from Fade. Happy to make the pick anytime this evening if we’re moving forward with the live draft.

    If you do move it to Monday, I live on the west coast and am at work M-F until 8pm EST. I couldn’t start until 9pm EST on a weekday.

    So maybe we update to Monday, Oct.20 at 9:00 pm ET?

    Rook said he has meetings all evening Monday, so we'll stick to the Sunday date/time as originally proposed with the assumption of drafting from 30,000 feet, unless other people have major issues with the Sunday slot (October 19 at 8:00 pm ET).
