Cam showed more life in that second half stint, especially when they let him bring the ball up or catch above the FT line. His (+ -) was only -27 which is something about him and his teammates. At least it wasn't the worst on his team.

No he isn't. With FVV out, we need players who can steadily distribute and defend. Cam is the opposite of that. We still have a surplus of wing scorers ahead of Cam in the depth chart. His chances of moving into the rotation are about the same as last season even without Fred.

Legit I believe him and Rockets front office would’ve ended up worse situation if we kept him and let him ride the bench while we played Reed instead of him. He is offensive force but we already have too many mouths to feed that needs touch to improve like Jabari, Tari and Reed which all are effective even if they don’t get set plays for them.

Yes Cam Whitmore infamous for his team ball habits of ....

...standing around looking disinterested when he doesn't have the ball.

Wizards will be awful but at least they have *some* kind of a theoretical young potential nucleus in Johnson, Sarr & Coulibaly. You can con yourself into thinking it is maybe the beginning of something.

The Jazz, yikes, it's Ace Bailey & whatever they can trade Markkanen for. And they play on the west

I never heard of Bub Carrington before watching part of Raptors/Wizards today. He and Cam on the same team makes no sense at all.

We all know Cam can score like crazy, but the problem is he often puts up zeros across the rest of the stat sheet. He even admitted himself that he hasn’t been giving enough effort on the defensive end. He wants to share the ball as much as Cam Thomas, a great scorer, but one who plays for himself. With that mentality, Cam could be a star on a tanking team, but not a winning one. If Ime and Stone didn’t already know all this, they wouldn’t have decided to trade him this season. This might sound like an exaggeration, but I honestly think JD Davison has shown more promise on both ends of the floor in his last two preseason games than Cam has over the past two years, particularly when it comes to moving the ball and playing enough defense to not look like a liability.

    His average are:

    Points per minute: 0.62
    Points per game: 10.8
    Minutes per game: 17.4

He can score like crazy, but not on a consistent basis. I don't think there's any need for discussion on this.

He looked good today. Wizards didn’t really have an identity out there today with the second unit but he made the most of it and looked engaged in defense. The city is really hyped for Cam. He definitely developing and have a solid following in the DmV. A lot of folks are calling for him to start.

Glad he's got a fan base there. Not necessarily rooting for him since his attitude was so poor here but don't want to see him fail either.

Cam was fully disinterested in his first stint. We’ve seen that act before. Not a good look.

The second half he was ok, but Washington is so early in their training camp, they generally looked terrible. Just a few guys getting in a workout. I hope he finds his game, but there’s a serious numbers crunch up I Washington.

So, do the fans want to start both Tre and Cam, or are they arguing over which one?

Bub Carrington missed all his shots and was Minus 34.

Vukcevic hit all his shots and was - 30.................Strangely.
