Phillies owns the most disappointing post-eason so far, they were the best NL team most of the year and experienced in postseason. Bryce Harper and Aaron Judge = Joe Burrow and Lamar Jackson.

I would have loved to have gotten Tarik Skubal from the Cubs in that trade.

The chances were exactly the same.

But yes. Suzuki would have been helpful.

( yes I know Skubal has never been on the Cubs)

Like why couldn't the Dodgers sprain an ankle when initially missing touching home plate when they won last night...?

That would mean they would get another pennant, and I find that unacceptable.

Just now seeing how the Phillies lost last night. It’s amazing how much pressure pitchers put on themselves to field balls and throw to a base. Most of the time it’s just basic defense you learn in little league, yet they end up in panic mode and malfunction. These plays have as much tension as game-deciding field goals or putts on the last hole to win.

We almost had Polanco for under $10/mil. Wouldn've definitely been an upgrade.

Funny thing is I saw that we had a chance of drafting Trout in the first round of 2009 and picked the wrong high schooler 5 picks ahead. Crazy!

Wonder what's Jio Mier up to these days. Apparently he's an Orange County Cop

Or they can be like Houston teams and just miss the playoffs entirely.

The highly favorable strikezone the Mariners always get at home pisses me off.

Instead of the challenge system, it should be 2 strikes for the ump. They can call at as long as they are correct, once they miss 2, bye bye. I don't believe an ump could have thought that pitch was an actual strike, it was basically in the other batters box.

Impressed by Naylor having the 2nd slowest sprint speed in MLB...and stealing 30 bags this year.

Just stole 3B and scored on a sac fly.

Tigers don’t have a shot if they can’t get to the Mariners bullpen early.

At that point might as well just use ABS for every pitch.

That said, I like the idea of a challenge system. It’s going to be fun seeing which players are selfish and challenge at stupid times - I bet Framber’s dumbass will be one of those players.

Also, kind of like the challenge system because they get to embarrass the umpire if they are terrible.
