Didn't an Astros firstbaseman get a batting title under his watch...? That is miracle worker material.
I’ve thought for awhile that the Astros needed new hitting coaches but I kept reading or hearing (from guys like Josh Reddick) that it wasn’t their fault. But when you keep seeing games where EVERY batter is struggling for nine or they have one good inning and then the pitching changes and they don’t seem to adjust… At some point maybe you just need fresh eyes and new strategies.
Interviews and such. That's why I used the word seemed, not was. I'm having poker night in November with my buds I will throw an invite into his DM. I suspect his calendar will be clear by then. I will let you know how it goes. He better not like games with wild cards. I mean judging by last year he hates wildcard games.
Not trying to nitpick, because I was just playing around, but you did not use the word “seemed”. You simply said “likable guy”. If you had said “seemed like”, I wouldn’t have responded.
The first baseman was considered one of the best Cuban players ever. I'm pretty sure he didn't listen any coaches when it came to hitting
Tuve regressed, mainly the whole team doesnt like to Walk, they were close to last place teams in strikeouts as.a team.. And all the last place teams were bad teams. I dont know if Cintron was responsible for base stealing or not. They were also bad in this area. Tuve has triple digit in strikeouts 2x im his career, last 2 years. Just saying, if 1/2 of the coaches are let go, usually the manager leaves unless he kept his job by saving self over taking responsibilty overplaying players (Hader- pitching 2 Innings) and too laid back- he should get rejected by umps once in a while. Base running errors, Framber disease and letting pitchers pitch too long. This is sort of like a.demotion or a citation (not revoked yet) for Espada.
