lol it was like Westworld or Mutiny on the Bounty.

This alien type reminded of the K Series, yellow Xenomorphs.

All valid points but I’m intrigued enough to be onboard for S2.

So is the Joe’s-lung Alien able to change its skin color via chromophores for camo? Thats a new trick, but I guess they’ve always been in the dark in the movies.

EyeGuy can control dead bodies. My wife said ‘of all the dead bodies he picks that one?’

I hated every single character towards the end, the finale was trash...... I was actually enjoying this series, after the episode where the crew got killed it all went downhill.... I hate Wendy and her gay brother, I hate the cyborg kids..... I hate the "genius" dude.... I hate the gay xenomorph, like wtf.... The original would have never been someone's pet..... I hate every single main character except the black guy and white hair guy..... Oh and possibly the older lady..... They aight with me...

The whole thing is pretty silly if you really think about it.

I enjoyed the finale, but I definitely expected a little more clarity/closure on certain things than I got. I read an interview where Noah Hawley seemed to indicate they don't have a future season greenlit yet and didn't necessarily have concrete plans for where the story was going, so I think he left a lot of stuff open so they could go whichever way they want, depending on fan reaction.

I guess I get that, but damn it I wanted to know what eye-monster was all about.

I definitely did NOT expect my favorite part of this episode to be the Lost Boys going full darkside and flipping the tables on Boy Kavalier. That was pretty awesome. I'd enjoy seeing more of that but I have no idea what will happen once Yutani shows up in full force.

Overall, there were opportunities to make this better. I was a little let down in some areas, but it was still a blast and I really hope they greenlight future seasons.

    I liked DARK WENDY
I am interested in what their ages were before death
Shmee seems to have been the Youngest (the Living Black Kid - Chris was his life name)
I want to see him grow up a bit. He seems behind the curve

I prefer this version of the kids
Kavalier is interesting. I did not want him to die . . .yet
Kirsh had to know Adam was a synth . .. . right?
Adam and Kavalier remind me of these guys: [IMG]

I have questions about Eye-Goat's capabilities.
Since he can pilot the dead . . .

I suspect that the reason we don't know about this in other movies is because
its all covered up . . .maybe even nuked from orbit.
Corps would not let this info out to the general public

In Aliens it was ASSUMED that the Settlers were sent to the Aliens location
AFTER getting the signal from Ripley's return. - Maybe Ripley just confirmed
the location. The company was already looking to refind them . . . .

Is it changing colors? Or is it just a different color than other Xeno’s in the franchise? I guess it was dark in the lab b4 escape?

I ask because I’m wondering if it’s a young female, future queen. That would be a big twist.

In Actuality they could have gone anywhere with the Title: Alien Earth.

They could even make separate standing stories ....same as in Black Mirror.

For now we would wait on the Eye Alien, if all it wanted was to get to a more intelligent life form or if it wanted to start a Colony.

    “Excuse me…does anyone speak alien?”

    “I do!”

    To the Alien

“Just hang loose, acid blood! Mama gonna…click click click….click click click….click”.

I only know that in the Predator or other Spinoffs a different subspecies red tribe tried to usurp the black xenomorphs but didn't succeed.

It was mid at best for good and bad reasons already described.

But it's just interesting enough with a couple of decent characters and potential to keep me watching.

I'll give it a C so far, but I'll see where next season goes.

I just discovered these 6 Alien shorts created a few years ago. Some of them are a good watch IMO.

so I had to do a double take when I saw the name Adrian Edmondson in the credits - totally didn't recognize Vyvyan from The Young Ones

It’s good, don’t be an annoying neck beard that cries about how close it is to another fictional alien 40’yrsnago

Finished it last night… I’ll lean towards a B- but could also argue it was C+

I enjoyed it overall and I liked the ending but how it got there was a bit inconsistent. Sometimes it felt like a smart show with profound concepts but then it would also feel like a dumb show. The CEO Boy was a pretty glaring example of this.

I wanted to know more about the corporations that run the world and how they interact. Thought that entire part was way underdeveloped.

Looking back, the action and suspense checked out for me.

By Hawley's high standards, it was way too incoherent and unorganized at times, I am guessing that was by design....still.
