Oh boy, if KD can get 20 points like this then we’ll be good. Don’t like the sleepwalking turnovers though lol. Sengun, Amen & KD is one helluva trio with the passing, moving and just being unguardable. Jabari’s new mindset, confidence and improvements look legit. Very happy about that! Amen and Reed looked more comfortable and it really paid off for Amen. Capela is definitely not a lob threat as he used to be, but he’s still a guy with size and long arms so should be good for getting us second possessions.

I personally am not a fan of Reed starting, he loses his man too much on defense and our best stretch was with our terror twins, Jabari, Sengun & KD out there. And you cannot teach height, he’s short arming too many shots to my liking. His hands are good though. But I’m not seeing it. I rather we go with Tari starting, Reed can come off the bench with Aaron / Davison, Okogie, Tate and DFS once they're healthy, Jeff and Capela / Adams. I definitely do not want to see Aaron Holiday playing PG, ever! Catch and shoot threes, that’s his role, better be the 3rd PG and 3rd string guard off the bench behind Okogie and Davison and not the first one off the bench.

Jeff Green should get minutes, he still has it and I said the same last year. Ime’s stubborn MF ass in not playing him in the play-offs really baffled me and how Aaron keeps getting minutes and Jeff doesn’t is even more frustrating.

Sengun to KD automatic 5 assists per game. Amen cutting when Sengun gets double teamed, 2 assists easy.

Sengun may average less points and rebounds this year, but boy, he will likely get many triple doubles. Dude just creates, what playmaking ability..

Reed & Amen can both start, just gotta sit one down at the 6 minute mark and have that one come back in to run the 2nd unit late in the 1st

We have the pieces for Ime to make it work.

Pretty good game considering the Jazz couldnt miss from the 3 point line...

Amen was back to what he does best, aggressive without hesitation. Liked how Reed got more time and his confidence just grew. Sengun is just on another level. You can count on him every game now...
Two guys who can get you 50 points 20 rebounds 15 assist a game every game without a hitch

The Jazz will probably tank for one more year because have they have a top 8 protected pick in a very strong draft, but they are ready to compete going forward. Sensabaugh and Ace Bailey are both nice wings. Hendricks looked nice as well. They have enough 4/5’s (Markinen,Kessler, Filipowski out last night) to anchor a back line. They are a FVV type away from being a playoff team in 26/27. If the Jazz weren’t viewed as a bad destination by players, I would view them as a real contender to take on a star in a consolidation trade. Their rebuild is basically over.

Hopefully, Ime will quickly get over trying to play the Sheppard/Holiday backcourt tandem. That isn't viable on paper--like what analytic machine would even try that--and it certainly a failure in games. It gives other team too many easy targets and shots.

It's probably tough on Holiday's ego to see younger guys pass him on the depth chart, but Davison makes much more sense on the court with Sheppard. If Ime wants to be stubborn and give Holiday minutes, he should sub Sheppard out of the game altogether.

Am I the only one who thinks the double big lineup has looked rough on defense in the preseason - especially with Capela on the court?

They need to find a defensive system ....you cannot let teams score over 130 on a regular basis. I know it is Preseason but that shet is ridiculous even in Preseason.

Definitely. I don’t know if they make a defensive upgrade move by changing coaches or by changing personnel, but something has to change.

Ace projected as a 6-7 Jalen Green. I wouldn't get too pumped over one performance......as we Rockets fans should know....

It was great to see Reed and Amen looking better. Reed was solid, not spectacular. JD Davison looked like an NBA rotation player again. I'm not counting on him to be a starter quality player, but if he can prove to be an NBA rotation level guard, that would just be so massive after the Fred injury. And if either he or Reed prove to be quality NBA starters, watch out! We're back to contender status!

Holiday just doesn't fit anymore - JD is better than him.....I think JD might get minutes as backup PG.

Team looks great, I am predicting a LOT of wins if we stay healthy.

If Amen & Reed can make the leap this team is going to be tough to beat by the end of the year. KD got 20 just going through the motions

Rockets last year when Jalen played well were borderline unbeatable. You replaced him with the most efficient scorer of all time. Rockets are a 60 win team with Durant staring healthy.

Durant practically sleepwalked into 20 points in 23 minutes. My goodness, it feels like forever since we've had a player be able to score so much so effortlessly.

Reed getting two steals and a block, plus four rebounds shows he can be a real disruptor, in addition to being an offensive contributor/playmaker. We don't need John Stockton, a rookie year level Matt Maloney would suffice for this roster.

Sengun with 13 freakin assists, running things through and around him is poetry in motion.
