KD gets 20 in his sleep. Nice having a walking bucket to bail us out

 

You are right but as someone who believes in extremes (either we are competing for a ring or we should tank for high picks), I dont value floor risers as much as ceiling risers. The same Harden who carried Ryan Anderson and Aaron Gordon to 3rd seed is also the same Harden who will shoot 3/18 in the playoffs and lose against GSW. Its cool he can get you wins in the regular season but at the end of the day goal is winning the championship and not regular season success.

I dont think KD ever had an inefficient playoff series in his life, even when he was playing injured he was still pretty efficient. The fact that he cant lift a team is actually better cuz if the team sucks you get a lotto pick. Like if Booker had 2018 Harden instead of KD they prob get a top 2 seed, get called contenders and then crash and burn in the 2nd round or WCF of the playoffs. I mean thats just frustration and false hope for fans year after year which is what happened with us. With KD he gets you a top 10 lotto pick so you are in better shape for next year.

 

Yeah, I watched it live from the T Center. I was surprised when I looked up and KD ha 20 points.

The Jalen Green Kevin Porter Jr James Harden era is over and it is ****ing magnificent my friend. Is the grass greener on the other side? Yes. Greener grass with big t*tties.

That ball movement tonight was a clinic. Deep multi-layered ball movement. Tari Bari Amen Alpi Durant, Capela even. Sengun’s vision of the game is simply ridiculous. It’s contagious and makes other teammates see the game that way like that lob to Bari omg. We as fans have endured a purgatory era of terrible ball movement and it’s so refreshing like breathing a giant gasp of oxygen after being under water for too long for us to witness this. It’s ****ing sweet man.

 

Not gonna lie I am more excited for this team than the 2018 Rockets. The team is young, exciting and also legit contenders since we have Kevin freaking Durant. This is the most hyped I've been in years.

Ace Bailey looks really good for Utah. as painful as it was to type that.

i hope to god he's only good in preseason and ass in regular season when rockets face utah.

 

All of our starters looked good tonight. Reed is likely going to start, I think he'll be fine on offense. I'm more concerned about him on defense at this point because he sometimes ball watches too much and lets his guy backdoor him. Tari is good to swap in when we need another defender on the field.

KD is as advertised, as long as he's healthy our offense is going to be so much better compared to last year. I think Josh Okogie is elite defensively but he is such a mediocre shooter, DFS probably takes all his minutes when he comes back. You can really see KD's gravity when he and Sengun plays P&R. I wish Ime gave Holiday's minutes to JD or just play them next to each other. JD should be handling the ball whenever he's on the court.

Ace Bailey was such a steal for the Jazz, dude looked like rookie Durant out there. I think a lot of GMs are gonna regret passing on him. Jazz has a really solid offense but they had the worst defense last year, so we really shouldn't be expecting to drop 140 every night. If they fix their defense, I can see the Jazz making the play-ins this year. Sensabaugh is definitely gonna be in running for MIP if they give him starter minutes.

 

It worked when they were in New Orleans....now, not so much

 

You're not the only one. B Scott was talking about Green's locker being empty. No one wants to take his locker out of respect. Hehe then they joked that they didn't want to get cursed like Walker with Jose Abreu's locker.

 

No more street ball. No more ball stopping.

Finally, we have a team most of us will truly enjoy watching. The pieces we’ve brought together complement each other so well that I wouldn’t be surprised at all if we win the championship this season.

 

He looked good however we have to see if his attitude turns around and his mgt stops being ass (I heard he fired his old mgt).

 

Personally I think Reed is better coming off the bench and being the 6th man cuz then he can handle the ball and run the offense.

If he is with the starters Sengun, KD and Amen get most of the touches he just plays defense and shoots spot up, I think Tari or DFS is better in that role as we saw Reed was mostly just spectating and got 3 pts with the starters. As the backup pg though Reed can handle the ball and and set up lob threats like Capela or shooters like JD or Tari/DFS(whichever one doesnt start). If we look at his stat production he basically doubled his stats in half the time when he and KD were the only starters left..

Reed is more dynamic with the ball in his hands, but he can't do that with the starters cuz big 3 have priority.

 

The J!zz have tons of pieces and not much PT to go around.

They have not played Isaiah Collier, SLeague Top scorer Filipowski, Walter Kessler...... and of course what to do with Lauri.

They could tank one last time to go after Darryn Peterson, Dybantsa or Boozer. At some point crank up the Defense.

 

FVV getting hurt was a blessing in disguise for the Rockets. Reed and JD unlocked.

 

Also I wanna shout out Akogie, JD and unc Jeff Green these guys only played 15 mins but totally impressed. Utah was trying to win when Ime took the starters out but these guys (with Reed) just pounded the Utah starters and actually widened the lead lol.

Akogie is playing like how I expect DFS to do but at just the vet minimum and JD made me forget both Jalen Green and Cam Whitmore lol.
