    I see no reason to keep both Urias and Dubon

    They (will?) have a cheap youngster to play 4/5th OF, right?

    Urias is brilliant-glove backup at everywhere in the IF.

    Why do you need Dubon? And I love Dubon. I also loved Marwin.

    Who knows?

    I fully would expect the odds of at least one of Paredes/Correa/Altuve/Pena suffering multi IL stints is? (Would go even more likely with Bregman)

    I would also fully expect any OF configuration to be a work in progress (+/- whatever they’re doing with Yordan/Altuve in regards to field time).

    Cool. You still haven't explained why you'd keep both Dubon and Urias.

    I wonder if Dana will explore a Dubon extension, such as 2 years / $10M, to lower the AAV a little bit. For reference, Spotrac has an estimate of $6.8M on Dubon.

    I do like Urias' bat better though but since Dubon is the ultimate utility guy, the team may value his defense and locker room presence enough to keep him around. My non-tender or trade candidates, with Spotrac estimates:
    Sanchez = $6.5M
    Urias = $5.8M
    Chas = $3.4M
    Garcia = $2.5M
    Trammell = $950K

    This shaves $19.1M off the 2026 payroll. Sanchez and Urias probably have some trade value that you wouldn't have to non-tender them. This should be a nice chunk to throw towards a starting pitcher.

    Meyers is estimated to receive $4.5M. I do wonder if they explore trading him while his value is highest and roll forward with Cole, Melton, and/or Matthews in CF. Matthews was getting a lot of OF reps towards the end of the minor league season. A Cole/Matthews CF platoon does intrigue me with all the pop they have.
