The Texans Missed Tank Dell More Than People Realized

What is Tank Dell's status? He is walking around on the sidelines.

 

Texans need playmakers.

Stroud's 4th TD was a bad pass. Noel picked him up and scored.

You just need to surround him with guys when if hes not perfect, they can do the rest.

Tank was one of those.

 

There is no one on this team that has the Tank shake & shimmy and man I miss it, he is just an electric player, I hope after the injury he hasn't lost that, I don't expect him back this year but man if he could somehow come back at the end of the season, he could be a HUGE spark. He is fully engaged with the team, he`s got an earpiece in, cheering on his team......................which is the complete opposite of Joe Mixon

 

Hopefully he has that wiggle post injury

 

Tank and Diggs too were both a bit underappreciated. People thought it can simply insert a Noel & Higgins in the draft to be Tank & Nico lite tearing up the league. That it can just get a Kirk and he's "essentially Diggs". But it doesn't always work like that.

Stroud can throw guys open better than most young QB's. But Stroud can still use competent receivers at this stage. He's not the one (yet) where its all the CJ System turning a sturdy, tough, "feel for the game", gives it his all Julian Edelman into a weapon. (Braxton Berrios is like 2-3 years off from that timeline). Tank is just a good receiver

 

Tank was his safety valve and they have a great relationship. You are right, missing him has definitely hurt more than anticipated.

 

And it was a completely preventable injury too. Bad route running or bad coaching that allowed his own receiver to run into him. This more than anything could be the reason Bobby Slowik lost his job

 

But will he have waggle?
