    Reed literally confirmed it himself, that he did a "little arm trick" to get a couple of extra inches on his vertical, so you're definitely right. If you add around 2" to his standing reach, and take away 2" from his vert, he's basically the same size/measurements as Rob Dillingham, and makes a lot more sense.



    I thought JD looked pretty good, but I see zero reason to think that the shooting is sustainable. At every step of the way, from HS through the G-League, he's been a terrible free throw shooter and an unacceptably bad 3 point shooter for a small guard. One hot pre-season game where he banked in a straight on 3-pointer is not going to make me believe he's suddenly become Kyle Lowry.

    Oh wow, I’d never heard another guy use that phrase. I’ve only heard girls use that lingo.

    Though I get what you are saying, in that Reed seems like he is too passive out on the court. Almost looks like he hesitates to instill his will on the game; sometimes it seems like you want a little more fight in him to get his shot.

    Nevertheless I would rather have a smart cerebral ballplayer than a dim witted ball chucker.
