I get that - but I don't think I'll ever get there with Wemby. It's hard for me to hate guys who play defense - and you can pencil Wemby in for defensive player of the year in any season he plays enough games. He's so good defensively.

 

WB has what it takes to be a good bball player as shown on the Nuggets. However he seems to have negative bball IQ and still have the mind of a brash rookie despite being almost at retirement age. He is already 36 but still cares more about rocking the baby than winning the game. Nuggets fans are still split on him on one hand he played really well with Jokic but on the other he did so many dumb **** like kept fouling jumpshooters and missing layups in the playoffs.

I dont think Rox need that kind of distraction and did Russ and KD ever make up?

They have to declare him out for the year, and they should....doesn't get money off the luxury tax line, but it does get you a slot to go higher into that apron I believe, and if they don't use it, Insurance pays the salary, so the team is more profitable for Tillman.

They cannot go passed the apron line with the exception. It is of little use for the season. Still should file, as it helps the owner, has little relevance to the current team.

 

Yeah, A doctor has to forecast that the ACL injury will take FVV out for the year. With that being said, FVV could still play this year & and we could still get the DPE. We still cannot exceed past the apron. The DPE gives us trade flexibility to take a player in trade into the DPE while the trade partner takes no money back. This only works if we get further below the apron, or else the DPE is essentially useless.

 

It's easy to hate the Jazz, but let's see

• how Sheppard and Davison look against Max Abmas, Walter Clayton Jr., Keyonte George, and John Tonje. We should look ok.
• KD, Tari, and Jabari show Ace Bailey what it's like to be in the NBA.
• And Sengun better look good against Nurkic and the Jazz bench. Kessler and Filipowski are out.

I have to be honest, I'm not usually a preseason guy, but I'm really excited for these games. The end of last season left a bitter taste in my mouth, so it's been way too long of a summer. Can't wait to see the guys out there again tonight. Let's go, Rockets!
