If this was a 5 game season, the Chiefs will be drafting in front of us with the 10th pick. lol The only way in: The AFC West only produces 1 playoff team. Denver. Bills win the division. Patriots finish 10-7 Steelers win the Division. Baltimore makes a run but falls a game short of 10 wins. Colts 14-3 Jaguars 12-5 Leaves 1 spot open. Or we can win out
Texans got unlucky. Never seen a more difficult schedule We already played the 3-2 Rams, 4-1 Jags and Bucs We still have to play the 3-2 Seahawks, 4-1 49ers, 4-1 Bills, 3-2 Broncos, 3-2 Chargers, 2-3 Chiefs in addition to the 4-1 Colts x2, and the 4-1 Jags again. The Texans only have 3 easy games remaining for the entire year. It's going to be extremely hard to make the playoffs.
While you can laugh after the way it turned out, this season is what I expected last season with the rise of the AFC South as an elite Division.
Who would have thought going into the season that the Ravens ans Chiefs would be the easiest part of the schedule?
This is going to be a fun year! People forget that the Colts and Jags have to play each other. We will get our get back! Texans have the best defense in the NFL. If the offense can pick it up there isn’t a team in the NFL that they can’t beat.
They get to play the NFC South and their own division. Other than that they play similar opponents. No one expected our division to be a gauntlet.

Again, if this was a 5 game season Texans rank 20th in offense, 22nd in yards 2024 Rankings for the full year : 19 and 22nd. No way but up!
Texans have been lucky to be playing in an ass division for a long time now. The rest of the division weren’t always going to be terrible. Good teams find a way. They don’t blow multiple games early in the season. There was nothing good about this offense the first four weeks. There might be games on the schedule right now that look tough but might end up like the Ravens who had an injury ravaged defense and no Lamar. Also, Jaguars have collapsed before and I’m going to need to see more than 5 games from Daniel Jones before I believe in him.
Yeah no **** - they play in the weakest division this season and play the weakest division in the NFC.
