Jesus. I didn't think I was still capable of being shocked by something some talking head had to say. A new low.

In normal times he would have been fired at the next commercial break.

OMG! I can't believe I heard that right. That's the most vile and disgusting thing I've ever heard a news host say in my life.

Trump is as transparent as a glass wing butterfly. Wage war on Americans, call Democrats the enemy, and spew hate and retribution against Non-MAGA folks. Bring in the military, bring terror to his American foes, and make up wars and crime stats not even happening.

Face it, those who don't vote for him, don't give him something personally, or don't cater to his family empire are his enemies. It's all about what you can do for him. He hates Muslims, and hates their beliefs, unless they are rich, and do him personal favors. I think about all the Muslim haters and MAGA politicians and cult following who posted non-stop about their what they called their sick mindset, their culture, and religion, and wonder how they twist themselves like a pretzel defending the Muslim leaders Trump praises and does business with.

Guys like ATW, Salvy, and Tinman must have to swallow a lot of vomit to keep praising the things Trump does to protect those Muslims.

President Trump this week signed an executive order vowing to use all measures - including the US military - to defend the Gulf state of Qatar.

The Trump Organization, run by his sons Eric and Donald Jr, struck a deal in April to build a luxury golf resort in Qatar featuring Trump-branded beach-side villas and an 18-hole course, developed by a firm owned by the Qatari government.

Qatar has also donated a 747 jetliner to the US, which Trump wants to use as a replacement for Air Force One.

    How Radical Are Republican Voters?

    https://lawliberty.org/book-review/how-radical-are-republican-voters/

    excerpt:

Conventional wisdom has held that the populist resentment that fueled the political ascendency of Donald Trump is evidence that the political right in America has grown more extreme, more reactionary, and more radicalized. Progressives have used this narrative to double down on identitarian politics, and the political right has used it to justify new types of political tactics and nationalist policy proposals.

Conventional wisdom among elites has had a patchy record over the past 15 years, and the radical-GOP-voter narrative is yet another example of how it has gone awry. Political scientist George Hawley’s book, The Moderate Majority: Real GOP Voters and the Myth of Mass Republican Radicalization, is the most comprehensive account to date showing how Republican voters are more mainstream than radical, more ordinary than extreme. At the outset, Hawley writes “claims about Republican extremism have been overstated” and that the “notion that the Republican Party in the electorate is dominated by crazed radicals has little empirical backing.” Instead, he aims “to provide a sober analysis of Republican voters, noting their demographic traits, geographic distribution, policy preferences, religious identities, ideological constraints, and cultural attitudes.”

Hawley’s “sober analysis” is a welcome corrective to the fixation that left-wing critics and right-wing influencers alike have on the oddballs within the Republican party. He acknowledges that white supremacists and conspiracy theorists exist within the GOP, but also demonstrates empirically “that these groups are a small minority within the party.” By overstating the influence of nutjobs on the right, progressives have pushed Democrats too far to the left in a gross act of overcorrection, and Republicans have adopted clownish ideas and tactics in an attempt to appeal to a “base” that is much fringier than actual rank-and-file Republicans.

They don't. I stand behind what I said. Remember I don't consider Trump a Republican. He's a drifter out for himself who created his own ridiculous party. You guys stand behind idiots like Kamala and Newscum.

Pull your head out of your arse. You got beat by Trump. Let that sink in

The flat out lies and stunts Trump and the GOP spread to fuel their BS stunts to justify Trump using military forces to storm into cities is repulsive. You can't trust a thing coming from their lying mouths. It's disgusting that they spew such lies on social media that aren't reality, but manipulated and deceptive ways to taint the truth.

It’s the very definition of a viscous circle. Trump falls for his own propaganda.

Why do you guys talk about this stuff like it's A&M vs UT???

I didn't get beat by Trump. The United States is currently being destroyed by Trump and the division, criminality, and authoritarian power grab of Trumpism. Kamala getting elected over Trump didn't mean that some team out there won some fcking game. It was an easy as hell choice to go to the ballot box and circle her name OVER Trump because everyone paying a lick of attention knew exactly what was in store for this country if Trump won again.

You guys HAVE TO live in this world where Democratic voters are as crazy and cultist as you need them to be to justify your own political ambitions to do your part as an activist for a movement to tear down democracy, and remake the United States as a corrupt authoritarian state that we know right wingers have fever dreams about. Democracy is seen as mob rule to you in your mind, and we know you and millions of others just don't want to deal with it anymore so if Trump is a vessel to tear it all to the ground you are here for it 9 days a week.

So spare us with cartoonish characterizations of who you want us to be vs who we actually are. It aint about Kamala. It's really not even about Trump. It's about people in this country who want self determination, and the ability to proceed as a democratic global leader in the world for better or worse vs people who think democracy is for losers, and see this as a cruel zero sum game where you need to conquer your political enemies instead of working with them.
