@Surfguy still holding UNH? After swinging during the first dip and selling..I went back in at 283. Looks like it might close at the gap at 377.
Yea...I'm on a long track on that one but I've only got a total of 70 shares spread in a retirement account and broker account at the moment. I've got a little over $4k in unrealized gains from those 70.
If I were day trading, then I might buy this PLTR dip here and then it will probably recover somewhat by EOD to sell is my gut feeling candlesticks withholding. But, I just bought 10 @ $172 because today's dip seems overdone and that's the risk I'm willing to take on for this dip for a long play in brokerage acct. Edit: Palantir didn't recover much at all today. Oh well. But, it will. Oh yes...it will be. It will be.
The market feels like 2021. Random sht like quantum stocks pumping. This stuff ain't generating revenue and it won't for a long time. Position carefully into these....we can come back to these in a year to find them for pennies. I sold 3/4th of my shares in IONQ and QBTS. When I was into my penny stock phase, I used to look up the addresses for these companies. It's a dead giveaway when you find a shack for an "office".
Every time I touch PLTR somehow I fk it up lol. 300 shares @ 31. sold for a 7 after bagholding for a while. then picked up 500@32 again recently, and sold immediately lol. And watched it run up to 180. FKKKKKKKKK. would have been one of my best trades. also swung HOOD from 56 to 62 thinking hey nice trade. now HOODs at 150. So tempted to sell UNH but na let me stay patient with this.
i lucked out. my quantum stock was IBM, in early Aug, IBM @ just below 240. bought a bullish 35-point CALL spread, using Dec 19 exp buy to open 235 stike CALL sell to open 270 strike CALL, net cost $13.80 then this development catapaulted IBM, closing the gap HSBC breaks new ground in quantum-enabled algorithmic trading with IBM quantum computers exited this bullish CALL spread, last week, when IBM was at 282, collecting $28.05
