Welp the Red Sox blew it by losing Game 2 - Eaton absolutely has to score on the play that Yoshida hit to the right side. Yes, Chisholm made an amazing play to save it from going into the outfield, but it’s two outs - why are you not scoring on that play? Then having Whitlock throw 45 pitches… Meanwhile this Schlitter kid is clowning the Red Sox so bad that he is going to throw a shutout. I think I am going to puke. Oh well, hopefully the Mariners make the World Series since they are the only MLB franchise to never make it.
Lol, no. Chisholm saved that game and any runner would have been out by 10 feet at home plate unless he threw the ball to the backstop
How the Mariners get a night game? I think the only time the Astros played a divisional game at night was when a game went 18 innings.
Are we talking about the same diving stop yesterday that Jazz then attempted an ill advised throw that got away from the 1B? He definitely should have scored on that play.
Game 2 Play at 2B with runners on, to save a run, and hustle from 1st to home the next inning to win the game
Bogaerts didn't mince words after the game when asked about the apparent missed call by plate umpire D.J. Reyburn. "Talk about it now: What do you want me to do?" Bogaerts said, according to The San Diego Union-Tribune. "It's a ball. Messed up the whole game, you know? I mean, can't go back in time, and talking about it now won't change anything. So it was bad, and thank God for ABS next year because this is terrible."
When ABS came along, I was 100% old school and didn't want it, but the calls the past few years just seem to get worse and every ump has a different zone, I`ve changed my attitude about it and welcome it.
TBS had the AL/Astros that year, and that was a Saturday… which means Fox and FS1 have college football games that have higher priority in the afternoon.
