    It's not even that. They're not just being casual racists. This is deliberate targeted harassment by & for white supremacists

    I lived on the south side. Hell I lived there in the 90s when it was more dangerous.

    But for ****s sake, these people are AMERICAN, like it or not . Black folks on the south side are as American as it gets. Chicago is the real America. Why do you think network TV has whole nights devoted to Chicago ? It's way more American than a bunch Gab meme b****es.

    If ICE secret police are going to do this **** it's basically an act of open civil war.

    It's scary to think about how many racist or psychotic sickos with warped and disturbing mindsets join ICE to get paid to terrorize and round up women, children, and others. I can't imagine the way that woman felt hearing the agent next to her laughing and saying f*ck them kids when they were crying and scared to death. I can't even imagine some of the sick stuff they do to those they grab off the streets and take away out of prying eyes, never to be heard from again.

    I hope that the personnel records for ICE are backed up.

    The reasonable centrist position now is Abolish ICE if you want to save the republic, this is why it's been adopted by guys like Bill Kristol.

    The leftist position on ICE is something like treason prosecutions for every single member

    I spoke to a Venezuelan woman who was arrested in this raid and later released with her 4yo son. She said agents broke down their door, pointed guns at them and made sexualized remarks about Venezuelan women. When she returned to her apartment it was boarded up and all her possessions were gone.

    This is going to get ugly - people are eventually going to start shooting back, which is 100% what Trump wants so he can call for Marshall Law - he is creating these bullshit events to hope for a crisis.

    That is the second US citizen they shot - the first one they killed a man who dropped his kids off at day care.

    Claimed he was a "criminal" - turns out that was a total lie, he had no criminal record to speak of


    These guys are out here doing a George Floyd a day every day - we are headed to a bad place

    They are trying to INCITE a RIOT so Trump can declare Marshall Law and cancel the midterms.

    And the more this crap happens the more likely that political violence will lead to outright revolution.

    I have a friend that was wanting to go to an ICE protest in Bridgeview (he lives minutes away in Oak Park). He was wanting to take his teenage nephews… I had to talk him out of it. Right now ICE can literally do anything that they want. The Chicago PD, ISP and FBI won’t and can’t do anything and the SCOTUS has shown zero inclination to stop it. He thought this would be like any other protest and I had to explain this is more like how civilians are treated by an occupying force… ICE can and will use force and arrest people. Not to mention that everyone protesting is having their license plates ran, face recognition technology is being used and no one knows what the government will choose to do with that information — from harrassment, to job loss or potentially facing prosecution.

    Not "abolish" but they absolutely need a massive restructuring and refocusing of their main mission.

    It'll take a purge of many/most current employees, but without the gulag connotations that 'purge' comes with.

    Dude, ICE wasn't even created - it did not exist until the ill fated Patriot Act era in the early 2000s. And we were fine.

    Get rid of DHS - a complete disaster. Abolish ICE. Bury it. Forever.

    Recreate USCS & INS, put it back under State.

    That's just a start, but it's a precondition to recover from this coup.

    ICE 22 year history is a national atrocity. And now it's the Waffen SS cosplay crew.

    No reason to keep it around
