2025 postseason watch thread

I just heard that no one has even won a 3 game WC series after losing game 1.

Come on Boston, Judge 2 and done would be something super special.

 

Not only is it not cheating, it's Aroldis ****ing Chapman lol. The guy has 1.5 pitches, and doesn't give a **** if you know what he's throwing.

 

Judge being credited with that RBI single was complete and utter bullshit.

 

Now the Dodgers, that's a real offense. Putting up runs like that in the postseason. Astros would be shut out

 

Fun stat cribbed from elsewhere:

There have been 145 plate appearances in the 2 NYY-BOS games.

Of those, 136 could have tied or changed the lead.

 

I have new energy this post season to watch. I now want Tucker (Cubs), Bregman (Red Sox) and Springer (Blue Jays) all to lose.

 

Why?

Anyone that leaves the Astros in free agency, I don't want them to do much better as our current team. No more rings for those guys.

Of course I'd welcome Tucker back on a team friendly deal next year if he goes 1 for whatever and gets ousted today.

I don't dislike any of them. Only wish that they don't win another ring. Although the Yankees winning it this year with Cole injured the entire season would be kinda funny

 

Padres just got proper ****ed by the HPU, should have ended up bases loaded with zero outs
