That joke is not that far off.

Not a single officer claps when Hegseth ends his speech.

If the SOW truly believed what he said today, he would immediately resign.

Well over 50 years. I can remember all the president going back to FDR and none of them were a ****** like Trump.

You look to be right. Only Taft and Grover Cleveland were heavier according to this list. https://potus.com/presidential-facts/presidential-weight/
    I’m
not buying Trump at 240 either.

    Oh ok
for sure. Large corporate restaurants, farms, construction, manufacturing don’t rely on illegal labor. Good to know that was a dumb dumb idea.

100%, impact is lessened by the AI Slop. It's not hard to find a picture of Trump and his hamburbers.

my original reply was from my own knowledge and/or logic. and the sectors mentioned are accurate.

for sure. Large corporate restaurants, farms, construction, manufacturing don’t rely on illegal labor. Good to know that was a dumb dumb idea.

here though is friendly Ai. showing that i was right and you are wrong. again USE YOUR F'ING BRAIN

Corporations profit significantly by exploiting undocumented immigrants, leveraging their precarious legal status to suppress wages, underpay or deny overtime, and maintain unsafe working conditions. This practice provides an unfair competitive advantage over law-abiding businesses. The exact scale of exploitation is difficult to quantify due to its hidden nature, but evidence suggests it is widespread

Corporations use several methods to exploit undocumented workers and evade liability:

    • Creating legal distance. Large corporations frequently use labor contractors and staffing agencies, which bear the responsibility of hiring and verifying work authorization. This allows the corporation to profit from cheap labor while claiming a lack of direct knowledge about the workers' immigration status.
    • Threats of deportation. The central tool of exploitation is the threat of retaliation. Employers can threaten to report workers to immigration authorities if they complain about abuse, wage theft, or unsafe conditions. The fear of deportation effectively silences workers and prevents them from exercising their labor rights.
    • Wage theft. Wage theft is widespread among undocumented workers. A 2009 study found that 37.1% of undocumented immigrant workers were victims of minimum wage violations, compared to 15.6% of native-born citizens. The study also found that 84.9% of undocumented workers were not paid the overtime wages they were legally entitled to.
    • Construction: Undocumented immigrants are estimated to make up as much as 23% of the construction workforce. Dangerous conditions and wage theft are common in this industry.
    • Agriculture: Farmworkers, many of whom are undocumented, are among the most exploited laborers in the U.S., often working long hours for low pay in difficult and hazardous conditions.
    • Food Processing and Hospitality: Industries like meatpacking, restaurants, and hotels have historically relied on undocumented labor and are known for high rates of wage theft. A New York Times investigation found undocumented children working dangerous jobs in frozen pizza factories.
    • Janitorial Services: Exploitation, including wage theft and unsafe conditions, is well-documented in the building maintenance and cleaning industries.

Most the fascists through history have been dumb. The problem is they destroy their country before ending up hanging by a lamp post.

They didn't clap, they are just waiting for Trump to either die, be impeached or serve out his term to get back to normal.

I'm afraid there won't be anything to go back to. We'll see how the elections turn out next year I guess.

Oh, I agree, I am hoping that they go to far and the military arrests them for treason.

Trump is doing impeachable things every single day......he should be in prison.

It’s much easier to burn down a house than to build it.

It can be done, but it's just much more costly and takes longer. Our reputation and trust in us will take decades to be restored.
