60 votes are needed in the Senate to prevent a shutdown. Republicans only have 53 (a few were likely stolen by fraud).

Dems are blocking this and own the shutdown. Now it's time for the reduction in force. DC's real estate market is going to get UGLY.

Republicans do not want to spent $1.5 trillion covering illegal immigrants' health care bills. What liberals cannot grasp is that this will provide an enormous incentive for millions of illegals to attempt to enter the USA (again). Incentives are everything. Liberals also don't realize how running budget deficits creates inflation -- just like Biden wiped out the middle/working class spending power with his devastating inflation.

Republicans are restoring order to government size and spending levels. Shut down government until Democrats learn the lesson. Oh, and move government jobs out of DC (one of the lower productivity labor pools in the country).

Democrats own the shutdown because Democrats VOTED DOWN the clean funding bill that would have kept government open. Democrats tried to pressure Republicans into giving free healthcare to illegals and are holding the government hostage until they get their wish. Never has a party been more directly responsible for a government shutdown that the Democrats are here.
