He did say he would let his play doing the talking. I rewatched his segment. Overall it was very positive. He expects success. -I hope he thinks he is a starting caliber player who will be successful. When he played last year he was very, very good. The Rockets would be idiotic to not play him when healthy. I think he has played better than Jabari and he should expect a Jabari like contract extension. I hope we don't pull the same crap that the Warriors, Bulls, Sixers, and Nets played this offseason - because Tari will rightfully be pissed and be tempted to just go with the qualifying offer. More teams are trending to have meaningful cap space next offseason. Stone needs to lock down Tari by October 20th. Heck, most rookie extensions get done between now and the deadline, so I am not worried yet.
I didn't see anything wrong with his body language. He was positive. Physically, he said he feels way better than last year. I am not going to rain on Tari's parade. He is the junkyard dog that every champion needs.
You would look like that too .... if you lost your only point guard before the season even started and you had Zero dollars to replace him.
It's weird I was looking at our social media day and all of our guys are in bits and pieces of it EXCEPT one player... Tari Eason. What's up with that? He was only in the interview but in none of the promotional stuff.
oh you're right, I was looking at this fake Rockets acc wtf that has some of the posts of the official acc but not all of them. This whole Tari extension stuff has me paranoid. I wish the contracts would get done before season starts.
Tari and Bari are way more talented than FVV. Hopefully they growing into professionals like FVV. They both seem more mature. Tari even said the death of his father made him grow up "be a man"
Those are some smiles like they know old ball and chain Jalen ain't about to jump out to join the photo from behind a corner. I never cared for you D-Book, but boy do I feel sorry for you.
Tell me you don't understand the role of a point guard, without telling me you don't understand the role of a point guard.
