Goodness gracious, 4 of the 5 worst offensive rated players from the Titans game are all linemen? This is hopeless.
It's a function of Lamar's questionable status. If Lamar plays, Ravens are probably 6 point favorites. If Lamar does not play, it's probably even. Let's keep this straight, the Texans can easily lose to the Ravens without Lamar. Ravens fans are talking about the Texans as if they are a crap team that they should be able to beat regardless of Lamar's status.
That’s a high line even with Lamar… there was already going to be a lot of money on the Texans covering as is which would have moved the line down. Now the books have to move it down just to provide some coverage if/once Lamar is officially out. Plenty of people got in at + 9.5.
I think we're taking the W here. With or without Lamar they're in bad shape. If they were healthier I wouldn't feel this way.
Could be even better if the offense could stay on the field. First 3 games, opponents had 34 more plays than the Texans, almost 12 more plays per game. Sure total plays isnt everything, as in its better to score on 1 long play than on 15 smaller plays. But more plays is more pressure it puts on the D
Their defense is awful. Opposite situation to us pending how you feel about the QB. I think Stroud's tape shows he can be a great QB. He just needs to be a bit more consistent.
