Thank the lord Texas didn't win last night. They gave up 4 runs in the bottom of the 10th to lose 9-8.
Dana Brown wants a puppet yes man. Well he's definitely got himself one. Joe is Mr. Oompa Loompa. He's just happy to have this job.
Eh...doesnt matter what he says. If Crane wants him gone, he's gone...if not then he'll stay one more year. Mistake to keep him...he's a loser manager. But if he stays and Astros misses playoffs again, Brown is going with him.
This season showed that the Astros should have valued any ONE GAME in-season as their "play-in" game, the same importance of a 163rd game.
Man, I am so spoiled, I am just used to the Astros playing in October, it doesn't seem possible that the season is over. This absolutely sucks, not sure how we navigate 4 more years of Altuve doing Altuve things, I love the dude, but it's not as if he is going to get better, hopefully Lance retires, and we can move Walker and start Cam, Cole and Mathews next year..............did I mention this sucks
It is already coming out that his foot was bothering him more than he let on those last 4 series after Atlanta. Guy is a legend and a gamer, I hope they find a way to get him more rest and/or more ABs as a DH next year.
That's when I saw my first game at the Astrodome. Mom would drop us off at Astroworld at 10A and pick us up at 9:30 from the dome. Better be by the parking gate on time or you might recieve the wrath of Mrs. Smith
I don’t think we can be upset at Altuves performance. He played 155 games or so, which is way way too much. it was unfair to him but he never complains and just posts. And now we learn it was with a bad foot at the end. How many ABs were when he was dead ass tired?
Man, season passes were so awesome. Dropped off at 10am picked up at 7-8pm, right when it was about to turn dark. Summers were fantastic.
