57 passer rating posted under that pressure. Forget the numbers, I see a Cam opportunity. Cam for one of their backup TEs.
We are trading OT Cam Robinson to the Browns? https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/46421597/source-browns-trade-texans-cam-robinson-fill-ot-need Can the team afford to trade O - line pieces? DD
I'm not sure if the line has really improved that much. CJ is learning to get to the ball out more quickly game by game, which makes the line appear better. Almost any OL is going to look bad if they have to protect for 3 seconds consistently. But I really hope they are all beginning to gel.
Half the information claims the line isn’t that bad half the information claims it’s the worst of all time half of all these stats are just ****ing made up.
Rookie year, got heavily heavily pressured weeks 1-2. Said he was going to make adjustments, immediately after that protection looked way better for weeks. a lot of this can be fixed with scheme, play calling, and decision making. These are nfl players.
Id like to know if Blake Fisher is, in fact, a bust. The absence of snaps is a pretty good indicator that that is indeed the case which sucks. With his tools (strength/length/pedigree) youd think he could be at least decent at RT with proper instruction. I think a line of Ersery - Howard - Andrews - Ingram - Fisher (or maybe a draft pick next season?) along with Stroud getting the ball out quicker could alleviate a lot of the obvious problems we have all seen prior to the 4th quarter of the titans game.
I'm really curious as to what the miscommunication was or wasn't. During the game, I thought it was just a good play by Simmons, but after seeing the replay, I'm a little embarrassed for them.
iirc: C and RG went to the right and ran into each other LG, LT and TE? all shifted over to block *one* guy on the left That's a "BadTime Astros Field a Bunt" level of epic failure (wish I could find that video)
