That’s funny because that has been on my mind all season too. That was cringe. There was something off about that. It was pathetic.

I know the Astros had a ton of injuries but it still hurts to see them not make the playoffs. Looks like its time for a new voice in the clubhouse

 

MLB preaches to teams no news allowed competing for the playoffs coverige (signings, whippings, retiring ceremonys, anything noteworthy) so we are getting a really quick firing or it could take a long while dead man walking dragging it out.

At this moment there is no boss in the clubhouse or dugout. I would take almost Joe level dumdum if the new guy would take charge and make it clear to players who makes the decision. Bases loaded less than 2 outs I want every guy atleast pretending they are looking for signs from dugout/coach on the field. This we do what we want and Joe can go fk himself daycare stuff annoys me so much. Also Joe talking st about fixing basic stuff and playing smart and he has no authority to confront or bench anyone ever.

Just get us a real boss. Then let's see if we can get this bunch of kids (players) pretending as adults and care to play good smart baseball. Maybe if we install some accountability, players start once more to feel responsible to each other and stop covering for each other with rtrd lies like "hmmm you don't get better by going from agressive to passive with natural agressive hitter" after 20 super stupid AB's.

I just want Joe out. Would not trust my dog in his care. He would be prob on his knees fighting for the toy when I leave the house.

That being said, I don't think he's in danger of losing his job. I'm not even convinced Joe is gone, they may use the crutch that the injuries were just too much for anyone to overcome.

 

You can't have as many injuries as the Astros and expect to win. Further it's been a good run. Bring back luhnow. Tear it down a restart the rebuild.
