Not his fault, He is not a blocking TE. Both of the blocking TEs are out for the season. He is just in a shitty situation. That is on the OC. Simply resource management failure.

Ok so how do you explain Dalton quitting on his routes?

Slow, can’t break tackles and runs bad routes. Please cut him after this season.

CJ wanted Caserio to re-sign Schultz and I thought it was a good decision at the time. But Schultz got paid and the rest is history. Sometimes misses are made.

I love that Dallas can give us one white TE and then draft/sign 2 that are better.

I see the much maligned Dalton Schultz, among tight ends only, is currently ranked:
    - #3 in total receptions (ahead of Travis Kelce)
    - #8 in total yards
    - #9 in yards per game
    - Career high yards per game (830 yds pace)
    - Career high 75% catch percentage
    - #11 in tight ends yearly salary

Conclusion: Wildly, Schultz is playing as a top 10
tight end. Which is wildly earning his pay .

Schultz is the only proof of Nick Caley's philosophy showing a good result (As a "tight ends friendly" coach).

    * Notes *
    - Yards per catch low, but is around career average.
    - Just 1 TD. But doing everything else to move chains
    - Top 10 tight end stats isnt NEAR as high as top 10 WR and RB stats. There is a stats drop after the top 5/10 TE's. Meaning Schultz is around the "Nico Collins" at his position
    - Never been a good run blocker. Still, catching at top 10 results is position production
    - Most of the tights ends around Schultz pay rank are underperforming. Such as Mark Andrews, Cole Kmet, Evan Engram. Meaning Schultz is one of the few with stats to back up the pay range.

For detractors, it's about if money can be put on a TE who can get 75% the results at 1/2 the cost, to use the freed money on the line or other need. (If Caley / OC can "coach up" the position, but "pay up" on others). Overall still, Schultz is THE ONLY OFFENSIVE player that is playing up to standard, for what that's worth

he's a good 2nd TE. He needs to block better (Which he never will) if he wants to become a complete TE. Stats be damned, he's very avg.

He can't block better. That's why you need a TE1 who can in-line block and also be a receiver

Schultz has been good in the passing game this year. he is not ablocker, but he is fine at TE when you have the option of having a blocking TE on the team as well. Stover by far has been a bigger disappointment.

I just wonder if Fisher has taken any reps at all as a receiver since he's eligible when he lines up in the 6 man heavy package? Even if he's awful, it would be nice to have another thing for the opposition to game plan.
