He STARTED for a Super Bowl winning team, he comes here and this team is 0 - 3, can only score 2 TDs in 3 games and can't protect its QB and you're telling me, he's the problem? They loved CJGJ during camp!

This is what Trump does when something is going wrong, its call DEFLECTION!

Do you guys see that all of this is Caserio? The OL is still in shambles, HE said that he and Demeco didnt have a problem with the direction of the OL during the off season, HE passed on Kyle Hamilton to pick Kenyon Green, HE knew CJGJ's history, he knew he was vocal, yet HE chose to bring him here AND guarantee his salary....ALL that was Caserio!

Now he is trying to deflect because of his mistakes. Sure, CJGJ made a mistake in coverage on the play in Jacksonville but the defense as a whole has been great the first 3 games....The problem is the OFFENSE!

Yeah, I posted before I read something about that.

That's embarrassing. Nick has to be on the hot seat -- how do you justify guaranteeing that much money to a guy with known character issues only to cut him after 3 games. Even Cal will understand how moronic that is.

I did also read that if he signs with another team, it will reduce that cap hit, so maybe they are banking on that.

Not that it really matters now, but Hamilton went at 14 and Green at 15 with the trade up. Nick did pass on Tyler Linderbaum who would be having a huge impact now.

Not that it matters, but Texans originally had the pick that Hamilton went.

Technically.... they had the pick before Hamilton (13; Hamilton went 14th).

Ironically, you're deflecting from the topic at hand by bringing up the offense ;)

CJGJ has been bad. Really bad. I don't know if the scheme was too hard for him to learn or he's just a low IQ player, or maybe it was just a string of bad reads/mistakes. But you can't make several game changing mistakes, blame other teammates and also be someone who's hard to get along with.

Dude has been on 5 teams in his 6 years in the league. I'm having a hard time siding with him on this one.

Why did Philly throw him away?

Both teams tried to get one over the other. The difference was that the Eagles cut Green before the season. While the Texans waited until CJ cost us actual games.

That's the difference between the two front offices

It also cost the Texans money the next two years to cut him

Better bring Ryans in for that conversation when you're having it. Nobody is acquired either in the draft/FA/Trades on defense without Ryans signing off on it.

Yeah Caserio did this without getting the ok from Ryans?

Ask Ryans, nothing happens on defense without Ryans approval.
