Too much crap guys and gals. The Astros for 2025 were injured and inconsistent. Nothing with this team was built for anything.
Fitting to have Altuve remain on deck.
Too many injuries, but the loss of our closer (Hader) and most consistent hitter in Alvarez basically ended our season. So many empty at bats with very poor team batting.

The players who are softer than a baby's ass can't fire their personal trainers....well, having watched them, they are probably not capable of that either.

    Silver ****ing platter.

It's not even that they aren't that good, they aren't even remotely exciting to watch. I have literally been dreading games for two months because it feels like such an uphill climb each day to try and scrape across a win.

The two happiest days of the season for me were the day of the dodgers sweep and the off day after the rangers sweep. The off day.

Espada loves trying to get 4 outs out of a relief pitcher:
    Pulled Alexander with 2 outs
    Pulled Okert with 2 outs
    Pulled Murray with 2 outs
    Pulled King with 2 outs

There's something to having a relief pitcher sit down and come back out that usually leads to less than optimal results.

I'm shocked and disgusted that a team with the most IL stints in MLB history, and is currently without Peña, Yordan, and the best closer in baseball this season may get eliminated by game 161.

    Meh.

With Yordan and Jeremy out, we're just not good enough.

New at Whataburger...the Espada Burger....no meat, cheese, lettuce, pickles, onions, tomatoes, bun...they were going with Nothing Burger but wanted to honor Espada.

the first half really got people's hopes up even though bunch of starting pitchers and hitters were on IL

all the astros needed to do was go 0.500 but too bad too many injured players came back caused too much moving parts.

Of course the players can fire them, that's what makes them "personal" trainers

I’m so tired of hearing about the injury excuse. We had 6 games left with the A’s and Angels to secure a postseason spot. An absolute GIFT handed to us, but instead we decided to s*** the bed.
